I've recently made the switch from squash to cold brew teas! So much healthier and still tastes great

Its extremely difficult to become fully carbon neutral, but take all the small steps you can think of:
- Grow your own food in the spring/summer
- Try not to purchase anything you don't need
- Repurpose and re-use wherever possible
- Buy second hand
- Avoid food waste wherever possible (meal planning is important) and compost what food waste you do have
- Vote for green parties
- Purchase a green electric provider and avoid gas if you can

Just think about how once you have completed your studies (particularly if you do well at them and get a good job), you will have the freedom and money to do what you want. You are sacrificing a small amount of time to have a much better future with the freedom to go and do what you want and lots of things to look forward to!

It was a very teethy kiss, the girl seemed to use more teeth than lips so that our teeth kept clattering together.

Advice for dealing with ego and control issuesNeed Support

Can anyone recommend some good resources for helping me to deal with my ego and control issues? Maybe short books or apps with short exercises I can do.

My partner and I have a great relationship, except that we fight over little things all the time because I can't let things go. I always fight my opinion and won't admit that I could be wrong because I believe I know that I'm right, which leada to big fights over tiny things. I want to change how I react to these situations and work on my need to control everything.

I'm pretty certain I have ADHD (currently on the NHS waiting list for a full assessment and treatment). I struggle with keeping things tidy which often becomes an issue that affects my partners mental health and doesn't help with trying to avoid arguments. I often get frustrated with myself for not being able to keep on top of tidying, which I usually end up venting to him when he brings it up (which does not help at all).

Any advice would be appreciated. I want to be a more positive and happy person and these issues just keep getting in the way.

What are the pros & cons of hacking my 3DS?

I bought DSOne R4 cards for my DS, then my partner decided he wants a 3ds instead of another DS.

What are the pro's and cons of hacking the 3DS to work with the card? Should I just get a different flashcard that's intended for the 3DS?

Literally just came back here to add this info haha! Ty

Anyone know what the size difference between oura and ringconn rings are please? Anyone that's tried both, were you the same size for both or bigger/smaller for one? I have tried the oura sizing kit but changed my mind to ringconn and don't have time to get the ringconn kit shipped and then wait for the ring.

Would love to know what customs duty/import fees you get charged for it please!

Did you order the ring in the end? Would love to know the outcome of what customs you had to pay please!

I'd assume the kit shouldn't have any fees at all as its free - only goods above £135 have customs duty added.

Beat saber 360 degree modes :)

I have literally worked in the VR industry for years, having used VR since 2016 when the Vive was first released, and still don't have my VR legs.

I just don't play games that require it. The games I enjoy personally are mostly beat rhythm games and more chill games like Moss for example. Any games where movement is needed, teleporting is usually good enough for me. Nothing has really enticed me to get past the VR sickness from smooth motion. The games used in my work tend to be more aimed at people who are (at first at least) newbies in VR, so smooth motion games tend to be avoided.

I also despise when someone is introduced to VR for the first time in a game that has smooth motion (rollercoasters are the WORST!) because it just puts people off using it again.

Fair enough, that's just not been my experience. One example: I bought a sofa off a cat owner and we've done everything to try and remove the smell but it just won't come out.

Both muscle and fat add mass to your body which means you require more energy and therefore oxygen to move around (imagine carrying a heavy rucksack with that extra weight with you everywhere you go), therefore your heart has to work harder to pump more blood around the body. However fat also greatly increases the risk of health issues such as heart disease and stroke.

Fat, particularly the 'bad' LDL cholesterol in fat, builds up in your blood vessels and makes the 'hole' for blood to pass through smaller, restricting the blood flow, meaning that less blood and therefore less oxygen gets around your body to where its needed for energy for important bodily functions and movement, meaning your heart has to work even harder to get enough oxygen around the body.

These clumps of cholesterol can also dislodge and travel around the blood vessels and get lodged elsewhere (e.g. other cholesterol filled vessels) causing heart attack or stroke (depending on the vessel that it blocks)

Although, when you say 'excessively muscular' this is usually likely due to steroids which is a different ball game than someone who is naturally very muscular. Steroids are linked to a whole load of health issues that can be just as bad, if not worse depending on usage.
