YTA

Your reasons are soooo justified because you're a professional whose hobbies are soooo high brow. So it's perfectly OK to monopolize your MIL's babysitting time.

Your SIL is a lowly SAHM who just needs some me time (cough cough, kinda like hobbies). What a lowlife.

What elitist crap.

Ah, great reading while I sit here eating a wedge of strawberry cake (I only pick the wedge with all the strawberries) while I contemplate exactly what breed of horse my college-aged GF would like best.

Bingo!

I can sorta understand someone from a smaller country not grasping the distances in a very big country, but a fellow 'Murican? That's almost willful stupidity.

I've been on long bus rides. Sometimes they're also switching drivers.

Yep, but they were adopted from a foreign country (I'm US) and I kept the names they were given at birth.

Wow. In MD it's pretty much added to ABC.

I had a dear (much older, lol) friend who attended Yale, probably in the early 50"s? Not only was swimming required, they did it nude!

Ah, got you. Thx. I am cheap ass person. I never get the drinks package. I am at least 4 star. I get my morning latte 1/2 price, go to the one bar with the 1/2 price happy hour (not star level related) and get wine packages for 1/2 price. If I get a decent offer for a last-minute upgrade from my cheap interior (all but 2 of my cruises), I get the 1/2 price minibar. Even before I hit the right level, I didn't buy the package. I just drank less.

Yes, but no more costly than stopping at a bar, getting a couple of drinks, and putting in a cup to take to your room. Unless I misread (always a possibility, lol) OP was not asking about the cheapest options or how to smuggle booze on, just how to have drinks in their room. Minibar is a good alternative. Even the canned cocktails aren't bad.

I volunteer at a museum which maintains historic boats It's not unusual for, say, a keel and hull to be replaced one time, and a few years later, the superstructure. Yet it's considered to be the same historic boat.

On HAL if you have a fridge it's stocked with beer, wine, canned cocktails, and Coke. If you're 4 star, it's all 1/2 price, which makes it very reasonable.

Also prosciutto rather than bacon. No need to precook, tastes great.

Adoption is always an option

Interesting thing I was told when I adopted: most folks want a bio kid first, but are more open to adoption for follow-ons.

Lots of kids out there need a good home.

Just 3 words: swanson TV dinners. Easily as unhealthy as any Lunchable is today.

Interesting. I'll have to reread. Basically we're talking a small swale, with native plants and mulch, between houses along the property line. We weed and mulch as necessary. We're on the Chesapeake Bay, so everyone understands the need to manage stormwater.

I don't have the docs in front of me, but I believe the HOA has the right to correct if needed and send the bill to the homeowner.

And I suspect pretty much anything not illegsl is "within their power" if you bought the house - you agree to the HOA rules when you close.

Funny but true: my nephew at one point answered to "wo-wo" because his father was always saying "Whoa! Whoa!" to him.

And also doesn't move.
