I have a few from surgery young to somewhat recent and a few from stupidity still hanging around.

This is probably the best and easiest option. Worked a place where we pre portioned in something like those paper hot dog holders but fries would just fall out. Bags would be the next move but the bowl and scale is the easiest I’ve encountered. If you’re lucky after a bit they’ll get a feel for it and you could not use it.
