I don’t think the government should be going after people saying hateful/false things.
People can socially boycott whoever they want. Just because you are free to say whatever you want doesn’t mean other people have to support you.
I think private companies should be able to set their own terms and conditions for content hosted on their platforms.
Alex Jones is an absolutely deplorable person and what he said was terrible. However, I don’t think he should have been sued for claiming the shooting never happened. He could have been deplatformed by private companies. I don’t think the courts should be punishing people for making dumb conspiracy theories which could have been proven wrong with a single google search.
Whoever send those death threats should of course be punished.
All of my political beliefs align with your typical garden-variety democrat except my beliefs on FOS.
Since I am from a very repressive country that had terrible FOS, I am very pro-FOS and I don’t think the government should consider anything as “hate” speech. I also believe social media companies should be able to set their policies and if they want to could delete content considered as “hate” speech.
So does that make me a libertarian/ Right wing?
Hi! My first experience with brownies was disappointing. I kinda felt high and that’s about it. So the next day, I had way more of them.
Two hours later, I was experiencing these “symptoms” - I felt like my mind was disconnecting from my body and I was experiencing time skips. I thought I was going to never come back because I felt like I was losing control of my body and I ended up having a panic attack.
Just as I was about to call a friend, I managed to compose myself. I somehow convinced myself that I was not going crazy and to wait it out. I found out that distracting myself by walking around or doing breathing exercises was enough to give me “control” of my body again.
I eventually fell asleep. I woke up five hours later feeling like crap but I was feeling like myself again. So Wtf happened? Were they laced? Are these symptoms normal?

Hi! A little bit of context - My landlord moved to another country, and he rented out his place to me.
Today, I got a letter from a bank addressed to him, so I asked the mailman to wait and called up my landlord to ask him if I should receive the letter on his behalf. He never picked up the phone, so I signed for the letter and collected it.
I mentioned this to my dad, and he started screaming at me. He told me that I was an asshole for collecting someone else's bank letters and that it could cause me legal issues since I signed for it.
A few hours later, my landlord called me, and he told me he was fine with me receiving his letter and that he would pick it up when he came back to the country. So am I the Buttface?

You need an internet connection to even open the game, and you need a consistent internet connection while playing it. You don’t need to setup any accounts.
There are banner ads at the start screen. They display one skippable or timed ad between a level. They even display video ads AND banner ads in the pause menu.
I got tired of the ads and I wanted it to work offline so I paid for the ad-free version. Sega had the audacity to sneak in an ad button on a paid app. Wtf?

Some apps try to guilt trip you into disabling your ad block if they detect one. Some apps just leave an ugly “advertisement” banner if they’re blocked.
