Spending some money on South American talent on some U22s would be nice and a way to build the depth out a bit.

And I'm sorry for some of your past Cincy fan experiences. Theres always gonna be a few, I feel.

All good and no need to apologize, you aren't them. I felt like I needed to provide some context and being blunt would be best. I'm a Cardinals fan, I know how rough things can be other fans showing their ass in your colors. CITY fans aren't shrouding ourselves in glory either online. Thankfully Reddit is pretty level headed so we keep on keeping on and be chill. Next match we'll talk shit about Skyline and Cincy fans will talk shit about Imo's.

Monday Morning: Bad Week

Not the most ideal week with losses to LAFC at home and FC Cincinnati away.

Let's hear your thoughts on all things CITY.

Most of the Cincy fans on Reddit are great and I know you are legit, so I don’t mean this to be mean.

That said, lots of us who are St. Louis fans remember Cincy fans from the USL days (and the first few years of MLS days) and they were not pleasant to put it lightly. Outside of this sub-reddit a very prickly bunch.

Our fanbase is going through a similar phase where there are lots of new and excited fans and expectations are probably too high.

So while compliments are well meaning and an olive branch, they can be taken in other ways. It really can depend on the poster and the feeling.

Just my take.

The man is both insanely talented and handsome.

I just wish he could save a penalty. Just one.

Monday Morning: Rowdies RollingMonday Morning Thread

It's a later Monday Morning.

Let's hear your thoughts about how this weekend's USL action went!

  • Will Hailstorm ever win a match?

  • Have the Rowdies stopped scoring?

  • Rising are unbeaten in five. Can they push up the standings in the Simulation?

  • etc. etc.

Can’t wait to see how some people will spin this as a negative

The posters involved were very vulgar and offensive. It unfortunately happens quite a bit.

The vast majority will, but some will remain and that is a net positive, but it isn't an immediate boost to be expected to continue when Messi leaves.

Tbh, it won't be, but some growth will remain. Messi fans are fans of Messi and will mostly fall off to the next big thing.

There is a play area in Forest Park near the Zoo that is massive. Would recommend.

You are willing to try. You did a shit job at it this season.

If Arsenal wanted the title, they should have taken more than one point from Fulham.

A bunch of our guys should be Green Card eligible soon. I would assume

AZ and Sam were both connected to European sales last year. They are an incredible example on selling high vs. holding on.

Tom Timmerman is a very well respected and liked journalist among players and coaches.

He is certainly not an empathy void.

LAFC defended well on the road against a good team and stopped a penalty. Sure it was an awful penalty by Klauss, but Lloris still saved it.

Their first goal wasn’t a mistake it was a really good goal.

It doesn’t have to be pretty. Really a sign why xG has to be taken with context.

Winning 2-0 on the road and getting a 6 is harsh IMO.

They had a clear game plan and executed.

It wasn’t a smash and grab.

Heavy rotation makes sense with this being the 3rd match in 8 days.
