There is definitely grading. Lots and lots of steps between raw and charcoal.

I grew up outside Cook County and had Italian beef all the time. It was my go-to birthday party meal choice as a kid.

As a former Chicagoan, I can attest to the frustration caused by too many stops, especially when you are stuck behind a bus while driving. CTA should remove half the stops on nearly every bus route.

Eh, French ancestry from a couple different places in the family tree could easily add up to roughly 1/3. (5/16 is pretty damn close, and 1/3 is easier to say and understand)

Well duh... Women are actresses. /s

Uhh. Does anyone else think the constant use of "He" in this comment is weird? Capitalization like that is usually used in religious texts to refer to gods...

An explanation for my response: OP's "joke" was to create an "us vs. them" situation, based on an incorrect assumption, where OP, a Chicagoan, was correct, and the "other", people from south of I-80, were wrong.

A viewpoint like this, while seemingly innocent in this particular situation, can have very negative consequences when shared or expressed in large numbers. Specifically, it's how we end up with Chicago-hating morons like Darren Bailey running for Governor, who take up the "us vs. them" mentality from the other side.

My reply was a joke, try not to be so offended.

Lol, is Manteno your guess for where I'm from? Did you have to look that up on a map? Try again.

I grew up 30 miles south of I-80, and we called it bags. Being north of I-80 isn't special.

The problem is giving platforms to people that are obviously batshit crazy and/or have harmful/intolerant viewpoints. There is no upside, and the downsides can be catastrophic.

Yep. Lived in Buena Park (until last week) and rode the Red line all the time through there. It's really nice, and that's even with old trains still.

Actual modern elevated lines and trains would be absolutely incredible. Both the riding experience and impact to surrounding areas would be so much better.

The major difference being that the Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) combined are roughly equivalent to Missouri, in both area and population.

She was most definitely already famous while babysitting him. She had a #1 single in "I Got You Babe" before Kiedis was even 3-years-old and a hit TV show by the time he was 9.
