Deep Love. It has 4 sub-series, and they are all tragic.

Life by Keiko Suenobu(?) and Confidential Confessions are also sad. I remember coming across these on a manga scanlation app and they’re tragic in a realistic way.

Some of Mitsukazu Mihara’s works are tragic. They fall in the josei category though.

I don’t know if this one is shojo, but Fukushuu Kyoshitsu (Revenge Classroom) is about a girl who kills her classmates one by one due to how they bullied her. I remember finding this on a manga app years back. I don’t think there’s an official English translation yet, so I don’t know if it’s actually grouped under shojo or something else.

I feel like people overestimate how fast they crochet/knit/craft. Yes, there are fast crafters, but we can’t assume everyone is the same way.

3 weeks continuously may be enough time, but people have jobs, kids, errands/obligations, health conditions, sleep, etc. - and creators seem to assume that testers can test designs full time. There’s also the matter of errors - if testers find/make an error, it’ll take time to fix it and it re-crochet it if they have to frog.

I read digital manga through the library. If it’s a series that’s only been released digitally, I try to see if my system has access to it.

Buying it makes no sense since you don’t truly own the item.

I’m looking at this and going “Good-e-no”, instead of “good-enough”

They’re all completed too.

I recommend Happiness if they’re into vampires

Princess Jellyfish? Female lead is shy, male lead is somewhat of a delinquent, but is also eccentric

But only if it has the original illustrations. That is what truly makes it horror.

  • JJ in love with Reid. Not needed, very weird given the dynamics.
  • Gideon’s death - he should have been targeted and injured, and then put into the program
  • Maeve’s death
  • How we find out Rossi has a kid. I would have liked her showing up in relation to a case, not stalking him.
  • Rossi getting married to wife #3 again and her dying during the time skip.
  • The whole plot about Will being potentially sick. I think a better plot line would have been one of JJ’s kids showing problematic behaviors that may suggest he’s a psychopath or something. Or one of them having a friend that’s trying to join the network.

They’ve also gone down in quality for non-grocery items as well.

A lot of stuff is sourced out to third parties allowed to sell on the site (as seen with Walmart), weirdly named brands (Amazon), and poor quality products for higher or nearly identical prices as name-brand. There’s also the conmingled inventory issue with Amazon.

Like if I’m looking for a replacement phone charger, it’s cheaper and more reliable to go to the store than to order it online.

So I suspect he lived past 25. He had to pass down the dance, and he was probably the one to turn the breathing styles into ceremonial dances. Nezuko could have done it too, but I suspect Tanjiro did.

The curse takes away your lifespan in exchange for immense power while fighting. But I suspect that previously awakened demon slayers used it a lot more (maybe due to stronger demons), which meant they paid more of their lifespan, and ended up dying early due to that. If many were young, it would explain why they would die at/before 25. There’s also probably some type of internal aging and toll that remains after the fight as well. I also suspect the length of time it remains activated is also an important factor in the lifespan drain. Prolonged use = increased drain.

If they had the mark, but did not use it often, they may have a shortened lifespan due to using it several times. Multiple prolonged uses would have drained them.

I think of it being similar to the Avatar state from Avatar the Last Airbender. Aang dies early because he used the Avatar State continuously for 100 years. Using it to that extent drained his life force.

I think they know Kurt, or he realizes they’re Kristen’s kids. She’s probably shown him photos of them.

And I’m guessing they put his name because they knew the story wasn’t theirs. It could be morals, but it could also be just making sure they aren’t accused of anything online.

Historically, childbirth has always been something that women tended to die from. There was always a chance you could die during birth.

We’ve only recently developed the technology and techniques to ensure safe pregnancies, safe deliveries, and for treating/dealing with complications.

I don’t think we’d be the main documentation source, but I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point, the sub plus the original social media posts were used for evidence. We are heading towards that point.

Yukarism

Kamisama Kiss

Black Bird

Bara no Tame Ni

Yume no Shizuku, Kin to Torikago

Princess Jellyfish

Any of Moto Hagio’s works. There are compendiums for it.

Kaoru Mori’s works are also great, but I think her works technically fall into seinen instead of Josei

Your wisdom teeth grew in once you were smart enough. If they didn’t come in, you weren’t smart enough yet.

Canon: - Yashamaru truly hating Gaara. I feel like he should have been more hateful because of what happened to his sister. His true hatred would have been terrifying, especially if he ended up being reanimated during the 4th war. - More attempted jinchuriki-creation events, and byproducts of coming in contact with tailed beast chakra, like the Sora arc. - Lands outside of the villages.

De-Canon: - No “aliens”. It changes the fantasy aspect of Naruto. Gods or other creatures, yes. But no aliens. - The Fourth War being a 2-day war. It should have been longer. More deaths, more battles, but also to show how war takes a toll on both the body and mind. Naruto’s generation that has never known war the way their predecessors have, and this war should have exposed them to the realities. Also, the reanimation-living reunions would have been much more meaningful and terrifying because there would be both one-on-one and group battles. - Neji’s death. He should have died during the war, but not in the way that he did. - Jiraiya not being reanimated. He should have been reanimated during the war. His reanimating should have been the way Orochimaru is called in to fight. - Us never seeing Tsunade’s true aged face. We see her face during the war. - Introduction of screens and radios. I’m fine with the electricity, but the technology makes it feel off.

More supernatural creatures. I want to see if they have mermaids and stuff.

I would also love to see the gang come in contact with vampires who are like their exact opposite: capable, live in a functional house, have jobs, and have adapted to 21st century life by masquerading as humans

I’m more surprised at seeing Buchanan as a man of God.

That was the point that bothers me so much. They have a lot of kids, but they don’t want to spread the kids out.

Guests rooms vary in decor, but they aren’t necessary, especially when you need the room for other things.

I enjoyed it because the art really felt similar to the manga. It kind of captured the height and the “etherealness” some of the scouts had. I like it a lot because it was a bit more in line with the manga and wasn’t very full of filler.

It also has a great soundtrack, which is apparently by the same guy who does the Naruto Shippuden soundtracks.

I agree with this. The Targaryens have done a lot to push their “exceptionality”, but I don’t think they have enough to be declared exceptions. Dragons go with whoever they want, they aren’t servants - they’re vicious animals who can level entire cities if they want to.

I think that there was some blood magic involved in Valyria, but it is no longer relevant to the Targaryens, as they have married out enough times to dilute the blood. At this point, the incest just makes sure they look Valyrian. I feel like if the blood magic was super important to dragon riding, there would need to be fewer dragon riders each generation due to the Targaryens marrying out and then marrying back in.

I also think that the Targaryens knew they only stood a chance in Westeros because of their dragons - if they had no dragons, they would not have been able to conquer as much as they did. They needed to make sure the lay people didn’t realize anyone could ride a dragon, because if they did, the Targaryens would lose the one trump card they have in Westeros.

I’m seconding the book idea. Getting a few books would be good, and you can thrift, look for sales, etc. You can also sign them up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library if they’re not already signed up.

If you are making anything, make a small blanket. Smaller blankets are easier to complete vs bigger ones, and the baby will probably get some use of out it.

There’s one I want to complete: Bride of the Water God. It’s a manwha, and it was being released by Dark Horse around 10-12 years ago before being dropped.

I have volume 1, and want to collect the entire series. However, they only got a release up until volume 14 or something, the rest hasn’t been released from what I’ve seen, and on top of all that, it is very hard to find in actual bookstores. Dark Horse still has it listed, but none of their linked sources have it.
