Roasting Lannister army.
+1 "We can hold them off..." đ
My name is Jaime Lannister and welcome to Jackass
- proceeds to take on Drogon, the reincarnation of Balerion the black dread with a point stick
He was trying to hit Dany with the stick, not drogon, lol.
I think he was trying to commit suicide
Yeah and then him and Braun magically make it to the other side of the lake on one breath, even though they just fell into the water 2 feet away, next to a dragon protecting itâs mother during battle. While one person is injured, and the other has full plate mail on.
That part of the show was a huge wake up call that the writing was now being done carelessly and quickly as means to an end.
Thatâs what Game of Thrones had become seasons 6-8. Seasons 1-5 Jaime would have been roasted or drowned.
From pov Drogon that's even a worse idea
Tell that to Jon Snow.
He knows nothing
Waited so long to see them rip something up. That scene didn't disappoint.
Forget the storyline, just the visual spectacle of that scene with dragon breathing fire upon Lannister Army was a sight to behold.
100000% agree đŻ
S1E10 when the dragons are born. I love the presentation of it as a miracle and a moment of vindication for Dany when she's at her lowest point. It ends one of my favourite episodes
It was the first goosebump and tear in my eye moment I experienced in a series
First goosebumps is Jaime putting his knife through the Stark fighters eye. First tear, Arya watching Ned get his head taken.
Addition to this- first scene where I didn't think I wanted to watch anymore: ramsay peeling theons fingernails.
For me, the first time I got goosebumps was when Ned told Jamie that he doesnât like to fight in tourneys because he doesnât want anyone to see what he can do i a real fight.
Bars.
First tear ? Ladyâs death.
Not sure if youâve read the books, but that scene is the end of the first book. I love the last sentence of the book- something along the lines of âAnd for the first time in hundreds of years the world heard the roar of dragons.â I remember getting chills the first time I read that.
I looked up the actual last sentence of the book. It goes like this: âThe other two pulled away from her breasts and added their voices to the call, translucent wings unfolding and stirring the air, and for the first time in hundreds of years, the night came alive with the music of dragons.â
Me too, the scene is so powerful that it brings me to tears đ it will always be my favorite
Top tier episode. Also one of the only episodes that shows armor doing anything when Jorah kills the Dothraki blood rider.
i love when sheâs in the city of quarth and she explains that she had a DREAM of her going into the fire with dragon eggs and re-emerging untouched with baby live dragons. she did that because she dreamt it and trusted her intuition. âiâm no ordinary woman- my dreams come trueâ
One of my favourite scenes in the entire show
The very first Dracarys scene
That beat drop. Love it
IMO this is up there with Jamie in the bath house for best scene of the show.
Love me some Drogon. I enjoy every scene that he was in. I wish Sunfyre would show some characteristics of Drogon in HOTD. They are both very loyal to their riders, grew up very fast and described as formidable dragons.Â

With half wing too. He was the bestest boi.Â
The Battle of Meereen in S06E09
Dothraki Screamers with Drogon leading them
I loved Varys and hated to see him go the way that he did but when that episode aired I was watching it with a friend in their basement and when Daenerys is sentencing Varys, Drogon comes up behind her and does his low dragon rumble as he comes into frame and at that exact second the furnace kicked on and made the whole room rumble with him. It felt like he was in the room with us. I will never forget it
At the end where she walks down the steps and drogon spreads his wings huge behind her
That was a great shot
One of my favorites
Roasting the dragon-napping warlocks when they were babies.
When Jon snow touches Drogon.
He looks so awed. Not terrified at all. Likea Taergaryen, not a Stark. It was a brilliant piece of cinematography.
I love that scene so much.. I go to YouTube to rewatch it now and again
Edit: made my past tense present
When they were first born đ„°
When they were dragon babies
when they killed pyat pree..
I donât know if itâs my favorite. But the scene in âthe long nightâ after Sansa has been very cold and standoffish with Daenerys. She and Arya get the first hand experience of what the dragons can do. The look of fear and awe in both of their eyes was awesome
But I think my favorite is when she frees the unsullied and tells drogon to âdracarysâ the main slave master
When Jon rides Rhaegal and Daenerys rides Drogon in season 8. That was awesome.
When Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion finally went home to Dragonstone
Sokka-Haiku by InstanceTechnical230:
When Drogon, Rhaegal
And Viserion finally
Went home to Dragonstone
Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.
Liked it when the Nights king kills one. Then again when the Iron fleet kills another.
Im not a fan of dragons or Targaryens. The battles in HotD are gonna make me so happy.
It always surprises me the variety of fans this universe pulls in.
It takes all kinds my man.
But i dont like the medieval equivalent of a nuke only in control of 1 family that has an above normal tendency of producing mad members.
Blud getting downvoted for spitting facts
Daenerys speech at the Red Keep. When Drogons wings unfurl behind her and she becomes the dragon.
Theyâre all so good but itâs a toss up between Lannister roasting and Lukeâs death chase. They both just work so well.
The unbelievably detailed close-ups of Drogon's and Vhaygar's open maws filling the screens are jaw-dropping. I realize they're cgi, but still...
The Battle of the Frozen Lake. Honestly, apart from The Long Night. Itâs the best representation of fire vs ice.
When the dothraki hoard is about to hit the Lannister army at high garden and they think they have a chance until they hear our boy roar. That scene has to be one of my favorites in the entire series
Mine, too! I've rewatched that scene countless times!
Every time Dany says Dracarys. Also, the handing over of the Unsullied Army takes the cake for me. đ
Viseryon resurrected by NK
When Dany gets the Unsullied. Drogon kills all the slavers. That was badass
Anything with Caraxes. His mere appearance trumps anything with any of Danys dragons. I do enjoy her burning the Lannister army though. We waited 7 seasons to see that.
And yeah im aware you asked GoT but just had to mention the scariest danger noodle
They had the woman who does the sound design for all the dragons on the podcast a few weeks ago. She said they told her to make Caraxes sound like "a failed white boy rapper" and that's all I think about anytime he's on screen now.
Lol what? I just hear an orca and a few other animals
Shorty called Caraxes MGK. Iâm dead đ
I'm a Caraxes fan for sure. Even the bane is cool but he just looks like a menace. And the show runners gave him a distinctive roar based off a deviated septum that's why it's all wheezy. But damn it sounds so sinister! Love him in Hot D.Â
Although the scene with Syrax and Rhyneara rejecting Otto on the bridge to Dragon Stone and Rhyneas and Meleys at Aegons crowning are my favorites so far.Â

Wat
Daenerys first flight is goat
for the show season6 ep9 100% were as for the book its 100% when quentyn martell attempts to tame Viserion but Rhaegal gets quentyn from behind with dragonfire!!
Yeah I like Drogonâs tiny feet.
The birth of the dragons made Game of Thrones more exciting. Then they ruined it in Season 7 and 8.
Yes but no.
If you rewatch 7&8 with an open mind and without impossible expectations, you will appreciate the action packed season.
If you permanently cry about little plotholes, then you dont...
Impossible expectations? Little plot holes? Im not sure we watched the same series. But yeah the action was good. Then again if action is all I want, I should just watch some marvel movies.
i bet you never rewatched, you should - i was actualy amazed - still better then 98% of other series episodes.
Drogon gently prodding Dany when she dies.
That scene still makes me cry.
Bran/Drogon destroying the Iron Throne.Â
from the last episode when jon killed dany and the dragon didn't harm him of doing that.
When Dany and Drogon fly low above the doth raki screamers as they attack the Lannister forces. When the blood riders jump up ontop of their horses backs while Drogon flew right above them was absolute perfection imo!
The one where Drogon was like âfuck this chair.â
Drogonâs fire is the second hottest thing in this image.
Dracarys đČ
The Bells
Why? Did they have any personality at all? Or we are choosing by the look?
When the dragons were born and (in HOTD) when Rheanyras son gets eaten out of the sky by he biggest dragon ever alive that scene was epic
8x4 when Rhaegal gets shot but survives, and then burns Euron to death immediately.
I recreated that scene in my head due to trauma.
Dragons saving Jon Snow and the squad beyond the wall, was epic with the music
Drogon's 'humanity.' He took out his frustration and grief by burning the Iron Throne, even obliterating it. He knew instinctively that it had killed his mother and siblings, and his first moment of being alone in the world gives him the freedom to decide to do that. Then he tenderly takes his mother's body home.
dragon vs the wall
When Dany summons Drogon in Meereen in 6x9 and he leaps down next to her. It gave me chills.
When they said is dragon time and dragontimed all over the place
Drogon is bad ass
Destruction of kingâs landing causing an end to cersei and her boytoy
Daenerys destroying the lannister army will always be an Oscar worthy moment
that was INTENSE
When Tyrion is talking to them when he first meets them and tells them about how he heard tales of how there were no more dragons âbut here you areâ. Just magical
When Rhaegal died, when itâs spewing the blood after the scorpion shot entered its throat is nicely made
When Drogon spreads his wings behind Daenerys in Season 8. Such a great shot even if most of the season was trash.
The battle of mereen that music was too good
Loot crate.
When Dany and the dragons lift the siege on Mereen.
Dany swoops in and burns the slavers' navy.
Drogon flying over Old Valeryia
The âsurrenderâ starting when Drogon comes into frame in the background
When she frees the Unsullied and Drogon smokes the slave master was pretty dope
I love watching the dragons mess up the army of the dead in season 8, it's so darn cool.
The two spears
Were we supposed to be rooting for the dragon murderings?
"Protect your Queen"
âBeyond the wallâ
When Drogon roasted the owner of the Unsullied as Daenerys talks smack in HighValerian.
âYou speak valyrĂ©!?â
âA dragon is not a slave. Dracaeras!â
I was really disappointed in the dragons & especially when Danaerys is riding them/ Drogon! They didn't even have her hair & cape blowing in what would have been extremely high wind conditions, & she never looked natural when getting on or off the dragon. Anyone who has been on the back of a horse, at a fast canter, & anyone who has ridden in a convertible, or a motorcycle, knows that your hair looks crazy afterwards, & your eyes are streaming with tears! I don't expect them to make her look THAT realistic, but they didn't even try.
When Dany was saved by her dragons against those fanatics
When her dragons burn the ships of the slave owners of mereen. âbattle of the bastardsâ episode i think. also when she buys the unsullied army and she tricks the army slave owner by pretending she doesnât speak high valyrian. then uses her dragons to burn him alive. when she used her dragons to burn alive the warlock in the house of the undying.
S08E06 where he's asleep in the snow and you don't notice him until Drogon moves...
Final episode - ash covered King's Landing, Dany walks out and Drogon spreads his wings behind her.
Most of my fav dragon shots are actually from HotD now, as opposed to GoT; basically any shot of Vhagar or Caraxes seems so much more fascinating and awe inspiring than what GoT gave us.
EDIT - KL, not Winterfell.
That was at Kings landing wasnât it?
That scene with that arrogant bald dude with missandre (guess that itâs the only name I remember) and the unsullied.
"A Dragon is not a Slave" "DRACARYS"
"Someone is."
When she speaks to the Dothraki from the back of Drogon.
Dany on kings landing đ
Daenerys flying out of Danza's pit, showing off her lovely butt.
Roasting the guy who sold the unsullied lol
This scene in the pit!
I normally hate reaction videos, but god damn the reactions to the Goldroad battle were hype when the reactors heard Drogon screeching in the distance following Jaime claiming the Lannister army could take on the Dothraki
When Night King attacks the wall with one. I'll never forget watching that scene
When the night king throws the crystal spear and kills Viserion. I did not see that shit coming, because in the prior episode against the Lannisters Drogon looked invincible. So when he chucks that spear and it goes right through him, I did an audible gasp.
When Drogon Melts the Iron Throne.
When Bronn is aiming the Scorpion at one of Daenerys' Dragons. Drogon I think?
Viserion getting resurrected by The Night King
i liked the dragon babies but also thought the scene where he absolutely smoked the tarlyâs for not bending the knee kind of cool
The throne melting
unrelated but how big was drogon by the end of the show compared to vhagar
Just for cinematography, when Dany took Kings Landing and were going to say a speech to her army, and for a moment, Drogon wings were behind her back, kinda sheâs a dragon herself.
when dany gets the unsullied. i rewatch that scene everytime
Loot train
Scorched earth. When Dany decided the city has to go.
Spoils of War. Really solidified have powerful dragons area. Dany could have take Westeros in a week if she didnât have shitty advisors.
When she frees the Unsullied. Maybe my favourite scene in TV history.
Jon Snows first flight
My reign has just begun
I choose two:
Dragon Hatching.
Drogon swap for the unsullied.
- Dothrakis attacking lannister army with drogon behind them
- Stannisâ army marching north of the wall and defeating mance rayderâs wildlings
- Forces of eyrie coming last minute to help jon in the battle of the bastards
Immediately after being told her reign was over in Slaverâs Bay, Dany says nah bruh watch this.
Tyrion court scene
