I'm 36 and grew up with all kinds of shows. Like, I may have seen most of Matlock myself haha. Even own the first season on DVD. Still, that's considered a show for old people and long has been.

I work in senior living and they tend to like reruns of 60's and 70's shows, and newer movies. I helped a new resident with her remote the other day and she didn't even know 80's shows like Growing Pains because she was 91. When I found her a channel with Maude, she said "oh, keep it here! Perfect!"

So, as I prepare to continue my series watch through of The X-Files with a 32 year old friend this evening (the movie is up next!) what shows will put future caregivers be joking they need to put us in front of? I think they'll be one or two for boomers and then for us millennials.

For boomers like my dad, my money is on Magnum PI or perhaps Star Trek TNG (though that would be on mine as well). When I'm 79, The Original Series will turn 100 haha
