Even in affluent schools there would be problem kids. This is the price of public education. You try your luck, if the class got one or two of them, they can't kick them out of school and other class won't take them either. My area is mostly single family home and household income is above average, and there would still be kids just insubordinate and esp. when the sub teacher are in, the class could be chaotic.

I would suggest public school because unless you have SAHM dropping off/pickup kids to school every day is draining, and your kids won't mix well with rich kids living in affluent areas while you live in a cheaper place. It's jarring.

School here is a pyramid with high school on top, I'd suggest Oakton Pyramid, Woodson Pyramid, and maybe Chantilly Pyramid. Woodson is closer-in with GMU in it so many campus activities for your kids when they are bigger. Oakton has lots of houses in the woods, very few subdivision homes. Chantilly has more immigrants but maybe have newer homes.

Google FCPS boundary map to find out the HS boundaries. Middle and elementary matters less, their ranking is biased because some schools are AAP centers so their test scores are higher but that doesn't reflect general education pool.
