It feels super likely. Also, Aeormatons waking up (like FCG) feels like a symptom of the weird moon shit. What I'd really like to know is why FCG has cleric powers but no god. It seems fishy as hell to me and I'm suspicious that their power originally came from predathos and Aeor was the only group who figured out how to tap into it, but when Aeor was crashed then the powers were fully locked down again.
I've worked with both professionally and the similarities always make me laugh.

You could get a "hole saw" bit for your drill. They don't go down very deep, but once the hole is outlined you could then try to use a Dremel or a sawzall or a chisel or something to get the middle piece out.
Not 100% sure how well it would work, never used a hole saw on something more than a few inches thick.

You could try a chocolate angel food cake with just a tiny bit of potato starch or cassava flour to help hold it together instead of flour. Is rice flour considered a grain?
All of the angel food cake I've had/made has already had very, very little flour in the base recipe to begin with.

You could try doubling the amount of sauce if you think you're doing more veggies than tofu, or if the veggies are watering it down.
I also usually do the sauce without corn starch and then make too much water/corn starch slurry and then just eyeball the consistency as I slowly add in the thickener.
