Being stereotyped as a musician. I primarily play the banjo, and 99 percent of people automatically assume that all I play is bluegrass music. Constant requests for dueling banjos or “that deliverance song” or “ that Bonnie and Clyde song” have jaded me.

I also play in a acoustic duo. (Dog and Pony Show-indie pop) and I like the 2 word names. A former country duo name was Hawks and Doves. A common stage banter was “who’s the hawk and who’s the dove”. In tennessee maybe something like “Whiskey and Water”.

Pet Euthanasia services

A very sad time is approaching for our family. Our family pet dog of 13 years is beginning to truly suffer. We feel the end is near. In the past. I’ve had the ability and property to bury our pet, but now we do not have that option. I’m looking for recommendations for humane euthanasia services in the Madison area. I’m aware that our vet offers this type of service and that may be an option, but I am wondering if anyone has had experience with a service that would visit your home.

Love trek cup 30 minutes from home. NGL, really going to miss mingling with the pros and watching super uci racing. But it will still be a great time.

I remember putting the original sign up just after extending the trail to Milham. Must have been about 2002.

Isn’t this sign just the coolest? There used to be a brown one but recently it was replaced. I wonder if it got stolen. This one is much higher off the ground

Years ago, there was a big wind storm in Portage and a bunch of trees were down across Milham ave. The city guys were overwhelmed And the Grahams towing guys came out in the middle of the night and moved the trees and opened the road. Never asked for money or recognition.

For me its like a European bike race… You you riding along on smooth pavement, then suddenly you forced back to the 18th century, trying to hold your position on the rough cobbled uneven surface at breakneck speeds as you fight for the victory of the open check out lane…

Question about pedals from a banjo player. GEAR

I primarily play the banjo and have very little experience with any kind of effects petals. I recently bought a Mike mechanic 2 to provide a little more tone and depth for my vocals. It was a used device and it runs on 9 V with a center negative charger. it was shipped with a 12 V power supply center negative. The seller says as long as the power supply is center negative. It doesn't make any difference if it's 9 V or 12 V. That doesn't sound right to me won't the extra voltage damage the circuits? , I don't wanna burn it out, so I'll just buy another 9 V power supply. question is the 9 V the standard or is 12 V more the standard

Sad to hear. hiemtra on Romence was my go to for many years. Super service and the exam was very thorough. I obscenity drove back to portage from Wisconsin just for the service.
