It is VERY difficult to explain how much of a gas guzzler it is…it looks like a (European) Focus, drives like a hot rod! No one believes me until they ride with me.
It’s also an arguably benign way to tell staff to go kick rocks if they have any problem with the way things are being done.
This is the kind of rock that sad globehead Charlie Brown got on Halloween, right? Not the awesome kind of rocking that is done in spandex (or in nothing at all)…
Was it because it is often presented with the curious terms “taco” and “hot dog” to euphemize applicable parts of the human body that may or may not be used with this device? Because I was wiggling like a kid in church the first time I heard a demo about this.
A blanket party would likely cure a lot of evils committed in healthcare, but I vote we start with the suits.
I work in psych, this is the one that concerns me (and there are no cameras in the bathroom, so it is very much the patient’s word against staff’s, regardless of how psychotic or manic they are).
I want to believe more people would get this joke, but alas…not enough people work with COMputers .

Most favorite: legitimately helping someone through a crisis. Least favorite: essentially tossing people who are homeless out onto the street because they technically don’t qualify as having a mental illness (but they do know what to say to get admitted); on the flip side of that coin, how crazy is it that you have to fake a mental illness to get a safe place to stay and something to eat in this country? American healthcare and its treatment of the destitute/mentally ill is just…upsetting.
