There are dozens of replies here and only a couple that are just “no”. I see explanations on why they don’t need to be played in order, clarifications on which ones DO need to be played in order, suggestions for which other games he may want to play first, replies and discussions around all of these points, among other things (including a reply from someone whining about the post)

Was it that over-reactionary though? The team went like 4-18 or something. Good teams have to find ways to tread water during those stretches despite injuries and other things. Imagine where they’d be if they could have even just gone like 9-13 or 8-14. That stretch still has a pretty good chance of ruining the season so I think it’s still worthy of a negative reaction even today
I agree with the principal 100%. But I think its the parents that need to be setting those limits.
It's sad to you because you like baseball cards, but what is sad about kids collecting whatever kind of cards they want? What is the difference between collecting a card with a photograph of an athlete on it versus a card with a cartoon printed on it, other than personal preference? Hell, you could make the argument that at least you get to do something with the game cards. My baseball cards just sit in a box or display their whole life.
I feel like if we could replace Hurtubise with Fairchild, this would be just about as perfect of a lineup as this team could put on the field right now until McLain, CES and Marte are back. Really strong lineup and in the right order as well.

Yeah, you might be right. There just isn't anyone in the draft class that has Harper, Strasburg, Skenes, Correra, Rutschman type of hype around them, so it just feels underwhelming even though maybe its not really that bad.
These are the two best options in what is unfortunately a very mediocre class. I don't think either has a ceiling of being a franchise defining player. We are likely getting a solid contributor either way and probably not much more than that. I'd just go for whoever can contribute the soonest I think, which is probably Condon.
We got very lucky with this #2 pick. It's too bad this isn't one of those stacked years where we are likely to lock into a perennial all-star caliber guy. Hopefully I'm wrong and the guy we grab is a hall-of-famer that plays his entire 16 year career with the Reds.

I don't know anything about Sheeple, so I wont be hard on it. It may be fantastic. But I will just say that after giving it a quick peek on BGG, if that is the best board game you have ever played, then I think you might be missing out on some amazing games that have come out the last decade or so. I encourage you to go down the rabbit hole a little bit and try some of them out. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
To answer your question, while I don't think it would be a good fit for you right out of the gate, **Gloomhaven** would probably be my favorite of all time. It's a bit of a boring answer since its ranked one of the best board games ever made on BGG, but I just love the depth in that game. So much to do and so much to unlock. Between the physical products and the digital version, I have easily gotten a couple thousand hours of entertainment from that game.

For what it’s worth, this is actually the Friday night fireworks that happen after every Friday home game regardless if they win or not. You can tell based on the message on the scoreboard and by how many of the stadium lights are turned off

Doesn't matter if it's Ford or another call-up. Whats wrong with that person sitting at the end of the bench and being put on PH duty with an occasional spot/emergency start? Everybody keeps providing reasonable reasons why it makes sense for Ford to be on the roster, but I haven't seen a single person answer why he should be the starting DH every single day.

The authentic version of this kit has the orange stripe on the collar and sleeve, a bridge logo on the bottom, and the MLS and AppleTV logos on the sleeve. Just wanted to make sure you knew what you were getting before buying one.
