The first sentence is correct. Fruits come from the flowering part of a plant and have seeds. Oranges are not a vegetable in any way because they come from a non-edible plant, same goes for tomatoes and avocados.

This is why I was wondering if it would be okay, cuz super oily.. but not a vegetable...

I don't know if this is a quote from something, but that is definitely incorrect..lol

I thought I was crazy seeing all these people saying it's a mouse...that is so clearly a young rat to me! The tail texture is also a giveaway. I have a lot of experience with rats but not enough with mice to know 100%..

I worked at a greenhouse for several years selling planters like this, and you've got some heavy drinkers in there! A planter with this many/variety of plants would sometimes need to be watered twice a day (water until the planter is heavy in the morning and an extra little drink in the late afternoon if it gets light) depending on sunlight and wind. Wind takes a LOT of moisture out of the plant, and it's sometimes overlooked. A sunny, windy day will dry your planters out in no time!

Avocado oil for insecticidal soap?

I'm rehabbing a small rose shrub for my sister and it's got spider mites. I want to make an insecticidal soap and most of the recipes say to use vegetable oil but all I have is avocado oil. Would that work as well or not?

Thanks in advance!

Not necessarily true. The trees in the background look to be super happy and healthy.

So, I hate to disagree because this is such a lovely sentiment.. I get it and agree 100%, however...this particular tree doesn't look too happy and isn't necessarily totally thriving where it is... Maybe it wants to be a picnic table there instead to better enjoy the ocean view..?

My ratties did this to a leather jacket I had hanging too close to the cage like a dummy >.< >.<

With the looks on their faces, it almost looks like he's trying to prove some kind of point about it and she's looking like "Well, there ya go, you're doing it, and you're disgusting."

What the actual fuck?? How do people like this get jobs working with children?!

I wouldn't be eating anything from the Assiniboine!

Edit - grew up with the Assiniboine right behind my house, also. She dirty! XD

I've had feeder rats from the exact same situation, I've had a random rescue and I've had girls that were raised to be pets. The difference between the feeder rats and the pet rats was quite (but also totally not) surprising.

Both my feeder rescues were shy and skittish, didn't really play or interact with me much. The only human interactions they'd had before me were hands from the sky pulling them out of a Rubbermaid tub with dozens of their siblings. They live a very sad life with a terrifying end, so they dont know how to be regular, playful rats.

My 3 girls that were sold as pets were so completely opposite. Super playful, adventurous, curious, and so affectionate! It was amazing!

I was glad 2 of my first girls were able to spend some time with them before they passed because the little ones showed them how to have fun and be happy, even just for a little while with bad hips! Haha.

Yeah, it's pretty bad..it might actually come to that! Haha. Thanks!

Yeah, it kinda creeps me out, tbh..

Thank you, I will try that! Would Weiman's work the same?

Agreed, it will grow, and to each their own, but I liked the first picture better.. >.<

Given that violence from men is an extreme issue, that's kinda the point.

Happy Birthdaaayyyy! I hope it's as fabulous as you are! πŸ’œβœ¨οΈπŸ’œβœ¨οΈπŸ’œ
