We are heading into Memorial Day Weekend and I am extremely ready for a three-day weekend.

My meal plan this week includes the chicken piccata meatballs again because I loved them and my husband, whose job is to clean up after dinner, neglected to put away the leftovers! I was quite sad.

What’s going on in your meal planning world?

,Nothing really besides a clear coat of Sally Hansen I don’t do anything, but I need to because it does affect my Self-esteem and find myself hiding my hands.

I have the same nails as you and tried out gel manicures a few years ago. They were definitely still short but looked more polished (ha ha), professional if you will, than my genetically inferior nails. I hate acrylic nails because they just destroy my already thin nails.

Wow that was nothing special. Got your adrenaline going for sure but that’s about it.

Maybe I can turn my long ass ranch house into duplexes. Married 31 years this month, it’s time for some dang space!

Seriously though, that story is adorable.

Years and years ago, my brother and I were skiing on a bluebird day, just gorgeous! My brother didn’t wear sunglasses and ended up burning his eyes. He had to wear patches over both eyes for the next two days, one being his birthday. He sat in the lodge with eyeballs drawn on his patches. The sun is no joke with the snow and reflection properties, as well as stronger sun at higher elevations. I hope your burns heal quickly. There is a hemp aloe gel that my daughter swears by.

Sunday: filet mignonettes, creamy tomato risotto, asparagus

Monday: Chicken Piccata Meatballs, rice, broccoli, focaccia Chicken Piccata Meatballs

Tuesday: Applebee's Chicken Wonton Tacos, Asian slaw

Wednesday: Black Cod with Miso and Easy Wasabi Mashed Potatoes, spinach salad

Thursday: BBQ Moroccan chicken skewers, (moved from last week as hubs was out of town) couscous, skewered mixed veggies

Friday: out to eat

Saturday: Slow Cooker French Onion Meatballs

PS: I love meatballs

Today is Mother’s Day-a very happy day to the moms on this forum! I hope you don’t have to cook tonight! Or at least are going out for a nice brunch like I’m doing.

I think Mother’s Day should be on Saturday so we don’t have to deal with prepping for the upcoming week and fight the “Sunday Scaries”.

What’s on your menu this week?

Hoping it’s a simple visit. Purrfect vibes to you both

Sending you hugs. Can’t imagine when my right hip yellow lab girl is gone. 💕

We’re dying here! This needs everyone’s attention. Who doesn’t have an off topic tidbit, especially on a Monday? Save our BRHWDOT thread. I beseech you.

Saved a few recipes especially the fish and chips. Thanks!

I made a switch and used this recipe instead and we LOVED it.

Here’s a good recipe to speed up the process.

Yes, many times. They are delicious. I cheat and make quick preserved lemons in the microwave.

Tuesday: meatloaf and mashed potatoes, green beans

Wednesday: <moved from last week> Chicken Saltimbocca, butter noodles, spinach, rolls

Thursday: Reuben sandwiches, cabbage soup

Friday: out to eat

Saturday: it may in fact be warm enough to BBQ! Moroccan chicken skewers, couscous, skewered mixed veggies

Happy Cinco de Mayo for those of us who love a reason to eat chips and salsa while sipping on a margarita! 🇲🇽

And of course I have Mexican food on my menu for tonight. The rest of the week is still coming together; I’ll poke my head into my fridge and freezer to figure it out.

What is everyone doing this week?

Rain turned to snow here! I have a nice fire going and potato leek soup prepped for dinner. Not too bad of a Saturday, in my opinion. I have an excuse to be lazy.
