Yes, currently there are 7 Metro lines (L1-L6 + L4A), while an eighth is under construction (L7). Plus, L8 and L9 are in the basic engineering phase.
With the same card, you can access to ~400 bus lines with over 1,500 electric buses.

Everyone is going to be in separate stations but connected through tunnels. However, due to the size of upcoming the L7 station, the later will likely become a hub.
PS: There was a design competition to renewal the whole area but it was thought for a L2+L3 stations scenario. Still, the area will need a major improvement anyway.
PS2: Next to the L2 station, there's the train station-turned-cultural center Mapocho station and maybe it could roll back its function.
