I noticed that after losing weight I tend to refrain from eating some things because I don’t know how much calories they contain. For example today it is raining cats and dogs. I took a walk in the rain and stopped at an Indian restaurant. Ordered a glass of wine and started reading a very interesting book. Now after 1/2 of my glass finished I thought perhaps I order something to eat. Looked at the starters, maybe order two starters. Then I thought I don’t know how many calories they are. Also I don’t know if eating early will make me hungry later. Perhaps I will end up ordering something but the behavior has changed. Earlier I would have ordered anything in the blink of an eye. Good and bad I suppose. Bad to be a bit obsessed with calories. Good to be aware, on guard in a way. Since I am a slow drinker I will have a good time to decide if I am having something. It is just beautiful by the way to watch the rain outside the window.

As a side note: I don’t remember exactly but I think the end of March was when I reached my goal weight, April, May, June, that’s three months. Not a huge accomplishment but still happy I am doing ok so far.
