Anycubic Kobra 2 Max filament coming out rough/bumpy

I'm using PLA Anycubic High speed Filament. This just started happening when I changed filament. It seems to mainly do this on the x axis. The instructions for the filament say to print it at "180-210℃ 50-150mm/s", "210-230℃ 150-300mm/s", "230-260℃ 300-600mm/s". I tried printing the filament at each speed except for 600mm/s, and at the correct temperature, and it still came out rough like this. I also tried adjusting the z offset and re-autoleveling. It wasn't doing this the last time I printed something, but I was also using different PLA filament. Should I try replacing the nozzle at this point? Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks in advance. :)

That's a good idea. And I printed out the pattern and some of the pieces already don't seem to line up perfectly. I feel bad leaving bad or even mid reviews on small businesses, but this kind of feels like a scam.

Yeah you're right. I actually messaged one of the pattern makers a few hours ago, and they said they forgot to mention to add a 1.5 cm seam allowance on the pattern instructions. *face palm*

Is it normal for a pattern to not say how much seam allowance is included and also not say if you actually need to add one?💛Beginner💛

I've bought 2 patterns from Etsy so far that: 1. don't say if you need to add a seam allowance and 2. don't say if there is a seam allowance already included AND if so, the width of it.

Is this ever normal?

I've been in a similar situation. It really hurt to find out that the person I loved was only interested in my body. I don't think you're immature for wanting to be seen. And I think them saying they "have love" for you is quite manipulative, in all honesty. You are worth so much. I wish you much healing.

Yes! I made follow-me-eyes for it.

Thank you that means a lot! :3

I would recommend looking up something like "how to make a fursuit bucket head." They're usually used to build foam fursuit bases but I use them as backs on my 3d printed fursuit bases too. I used half of a foam bucket head, and put a little extra space at the bottom so that my head can fit. I hope this helps! :)

That's actually pretty relieving to read. thank you :)

Nuvigil Generic (Armodafinil) Dosage?Medication

I started Armodafinil after being on 20mg Adderall XR twice a day for Id-hypersomnia and fatigue. It turns out the Adderall was raising my heart rate to a somewhat dangerous rate. I was put on the lowest dose of Armodafinil though (50mg), and I'm concerned that it won't be enough to keep me awake for most of the day. Does anyone have experience with 50mg? Was it enough? Did you become tolerant to it at some point? I was put on a 30 day supply, and I have classes with heavy work loads. I don't know what to do if I start having sleep attacks regularly again. When I was in highschool, I ended up nearly failing multiple classes unmedicated.

ohhh that does look awesome. I think I saw someone use this in a fursuit tutorial but I wasn't sure what the name of it was lol. Thank you for sharing, I will think about it.

That sounds like a better idea. I already got webbing, so I think I will experiment with the two different materials, the buckle, and your idea.

I have a 3D printed fursuit mask. I wanted to try something new and use a buckle to secure the wearer's head because I think it may be more secure than elastic, but I'm afraid it might not be as comfortable. I was thinking I could use a three way buckle and add some padding to it. Any feedback is appreciated. :)

Bondo Glazing and Spot Putty for a print that will get wet?Question

I'm making a wearable mask that will have fabric around it and foam in the inside, meaning it will have to be washed if worn for a long time. There wouldn't really be a way to avoid getting the plastic part wet. I've already printed the plastic part with PLA. I want to get a really smooth finish and I've heard that Bondo glazing and spot putty is great for filling pin holes and very tiny ridges. I absent mindly bought it after seeing "waterproof" in an article it was featured in. I can't actually find "waterproof" in any of its product descriptions, though.

I know that the putty absorbs water, so I'm afraid it might expand and crack after I've primed and painted it. I've also seen that some wood filler is waterproof and usable on PLA, so I'm thinking that might be a better option. Any thoughts on what I should use, or if the bondo is ok?

Thanks in advance

Awesome! Thank you for your interest :3

You could try testing the marker by marking a small piece/scrap piece of faux fur, then washing it with soap and warm water. That should show whether the marker will bleed through and be permanent.
