Sentimental value, or a desire to “restore” things as a hobby or collection. Preservation of older technology.

Not really, just enough to support the top layers that will be the bottom of the inner “cup”.

No, the largest tip your iron has. So that you can touch two solder points at a time.

I’d cancel it personally, that’s a ton of infill and it looks like grid which is notorious for causing crashes and grinding.

Describe the issue.

I even tried listening to your video with audio but still can’t figure out what the problem is, I hear multiple overlapping audio sources. If you’re recording something to show an audio problem, make sure the rest of the room you’re in is quiet.

Prop the camera you’re using to record up against something to clearly show what’s happening, this will keep it steady and free your other hand up

Seeing no issues on mine, it’s also not Friday, tomorrow is Friday, regardless of it being a holiday in the US today.

Yes. A routine screen replacement will get you fixed right up, and is much cheaper at a reputable repair shop than a new phone.

The technical explanation for this is that the impact of the drop caused an area of the super thin OLED layer in your screen to crack, or die. Once the pixels die, they’re dead. And this effect can actually spread over time as the nearby pixels are now weakened.

Any Wyze cam that has weather resistance is going to suffer microphone issues. This is an unfortunate side effect of trying to plug liquid access points while still allowing sound to pass through.

Wyze is able to offer such an affordable price because the components used aren’t very high end, and are often the most common and mass produced possible. Internally you’ll find a standard SMD microphone. You’d find this on cell phones and similar devices. It’s a teeny tiny little gold rectangle with a pinhole in the top of it, inside that hole is a mind-bendingly thin membrane that detects sound waves hitting it. So sound has to travel in the tiny hole on the front of the Wyze, through a water-resistant barrier, and few more millimeters before trying to enter this pinhole microphone.

Now this tiny inexpensive processor, which is already handling the video encoding from the camera and sending this to the wireless chip to upload and steam, is having to sync up audio too?!

So while the engineering and physical design could certainly be improved upon, there’s potential to slightly increase the quality of some pieces they use too, albeit for a slight price increase they’d be justified in passing to the consumer if it meant major QoL improvements.

With that little essay out of the way, yeah the microphone quality is what I’d rate as “advanced hot garbage”.

Your screen is shattered internally. You went a bit too deep or at a bad angle with your tool. You’ll need a new screen, do not purchase a cheap LCD for this. Consider also taking this to a repair shop instead.

It looks like you uploaded multiple videos in a short period of time, it’s possible YouTube detected it as spam and limited it. It’s hard to say, shorts are a bit random sometimes.

Wipe the display gently but with conviction using isopropyl alcohol. A small amount of windex will do if you don’t have rubbing alcohol on hand.

Next try rebooting your phone. If the screen won’t respond, quickly press volume up, then volume down, then press and hold the power button until the device reboots.

Problem still persists? Time for a new display, or preferably for a tech to disassemble and check for any kind of liquid damage inside.

Aside from drilling a hole, there is no way of accessing the interior of the charging port from the inside of the device.

5 seconds of heatgun to the front of the display where the home button sits. Or a single drop of isopropyl alcohol. Basically falls out at that point. Never anything metal or sharp, too much risk that it catches an edge.

Black nitrile gloves. Every video, except Halloween I did orange.

What slicer are you using? Many of them have settings for gap fill.

Points to a screen fault. Specifically one on the screen itself, eeprom error. But if you’ve already tried two displays, I’d start checking the board for issues.

Send them an email, let them know your subscribers and monthly/total view count. Link to your channel and hope they take interest.

Best bet is to start trawling through the XDA forums. Get ready for some sketchy links though, especially with old media sharing links.

Why is your text so big. Why do you have friends playing pranks on your YouTube channel.

Once you post it’s immediately available. But if you deleted it, it’s no longer visible.

The adhesive used is usually 1-2mm wide under the glass. It’s likely you got either a hair, or a stray piece of adhesive that the cutter missed. It’s fine

Liking your own content is fine. YouTube shorts are a total toss up sometimes, especially for new accounts. Shadowbanning isn’t a thing. You pretty much have to just keep going and wait for one that takes off. It depends on the quality and content of your content

Soldering wick to soak the solder up and unbridge the contacts. You’ve got one bridge on the top left resistor and another on the top right capacitor. But to be honest those pads are so close the vias it’s almost like they are intended to be bridged.

That is unfortunately the cost with high end AMOLED displays, they are far from cheap. You can try AliExpress, sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you get a thick LCD with a cropped display.
