Thanks for your input. Do you know if it’s a good idea to briefly mention things from your activity list on your PIQs? I’ve heard that you shouldn’t…

Admission Activities Section

How much technical language should I use in my activities/extracurricular list of 20? I'm going to be applying to computer science with internships and projects, but am not sure if I should talk about the details. Do admission officers know what I'll be talking about? Also, I'm not sure if admission officers are distributed by major (would a computer science AO read my application)?

ucla choice system?

how does ucla consider your choices for majors? if you get rejected from your first choice, do they even consider the remaining choices?

Hey, bought this piece off depop and wanted to legit check.

The print is very different from my stussy pieces, as it seems smooth and shiny.

so you’d recommend doing cs at a less prestigious school (like ucsd or smth) than doing ds at like ucla or ucb? because i almost guarantee im not getting into ucla or ucb cs lmao

cs alternative?CS/EECS

im currently a junior in high school thinking about maybe declaring data science instead of computer science as it is less competitive but also am wondering if that will hinder my chances of getting swe internships/jobs during and after school? my resume is still pretty strong, but can someone please give me some pointers?

ap scores and admissions

do low ap exam scores significantly affect admissions? i heard somewhere that since ucs are “test blind”, they won’t consider the value of the scores, but rather the credit in passing the ap exam. so, if i do badly on my exams and not get 4s or 5s, would it hurt my application? im planning to apply to computer science/computer engineering.

ucla/ucb ap scoresApplication Question

how detrimental would it be if i reported several 3s on my uc applications? i know they’re test blind, but that doesn’t include ap tests does it? would it look pretty bad? and should i even report the 3s? i plan to major in computer engineering.

it’s no longer available. is there another link?
