Okay cool! so at the end of it did you get charged for the batteries at all? or did you cancel before theh even had the chance to charge you for it

probably a good thought.. but anyone that wants to steal will steal... and probably wont go for just the wheels.. I suggest just parking in private parking spots/garages whenever but ofc it gets expensive so i get it.. i dont live in the city but whenever i go to DC for anything i always buy a parking pass to a secured garage in a not so bad area if i can

i personally havent driven at night w 20.. ive seen it in person and glanced at it in the dark. But i can say ceramic CTX 35% is noticeably dark from the outside, but very nice to the eyes driving, removes alot of glares and unwanted light when driving and have good visibility especially w newer headlights.. 20% would probably be similar but your headlights really play a bigger roll w 20%.. i suggest LED projectors that are reputable and have higher output clarity than oem ones.. Morimoto makes great stuff

rims arent bad at all, but i def like the gloss black or black w chrome trim rims, gotmyself some anthem offroad equalizer 18s -12 offset with some 33" nitto ridge grapplers, love the combo!

probably not necessary unless you live in the city where you constantly park on sketchy public areas

ied probably paint match the bumper, i did paint match on my 18 bumper and was going to do aswell for the light trims and grill, but thinking about getting the HC chrome grille and keeping that part chrome now, idk lmao

The boyfriend is clearly not the boyfriend lol

Transmission Cooler Questions!

Hello! i bought a tranmission cooler mishimoto which calls to add extra .65 quarts, well my question is once i add the extra fluid, would i have to account that on every pan drain and fill? or would that be similar to the TC where the fluid stays there and i proceed w the normal if i can remember 6quarts i think (?). Thanks you, aswell i already have a superior solutions thermal bypass, would buying the 70$ PPE Thermal Bypass be an improvement?

yupp my 6l80 is 140s normally, these hot 95-105 temp days here in VA got it around 155-170, ive seen close to 180 at most in traffic but usually once i hit some wind starts to go back down.. will get a cooler installed for towing forsure

Would superior solutions work better than the PPE thermostat bypass valve? currently have superior solutions and was thinking maybe getting ppe bypass along w the cooler i will install

Yessir!, and that was going to be my next step! it had old gas so maybe that will help it run and solve my problem.. Currently focused on my driveway extension as a project since we are getting a 37ft camper in put inside it this sunday, but once thats done, back to focusing on the boat to get her on the water before summer is over haha

yes i did! took my starter out and used jumper cables, black to starter bolt flange and red to positive.. you can hear it whirring but the pinion didnt jump up where it would catch the flywheel, ordered a new starter for 60$ and now i get crank... got my engine to start and stay running for like 20s once.. but then she died on me.. cant seem to hold start but cleaning spark plug wires helped so still on this journey haha, best of luck brother

yessir thats the spirit, i bought a new to me 18 5.3 LT with the features i wanted and did a bunch of stuff to it like motorized tow mirrors, lower trans fluid temps, new bumper w paint match, lift w 33tires and wheels, smoked tail leds etc etc. But down the line when my finances are better aswell i plan to get a 6.6 turbomax maybe LTZ TB or HC TB if available then since ill be towing a big camper

Im actually about to start towing 7-8k work of camper with my 5.3, i got a tranny fluid thermal bypass done and i will put an external cooler, seeing that your 5.3 did well with 7k pounds eases my mind that i will easily be able to tow it without any problems

Is it? i know the method usually is you have your stock tune to swap between you diablo tune.. but i heard a couple cases where they see Time stuff with the ecu like when it was active and a blank spot etc etc.. pretty much indicates to whoever is working on the vehicle that someone was tampering with it.. never happened to me or anyone i personally know, but i saw some cases out there where warranty was denied through that case.. just wanted to get that information relayed to OP as something that may be possible in case he decides to go that route haha

Tuning will 10000% void warranty... cannot modify ECU, TCM or anything with tunes without it voiding warranty

if your looking for a crew cab 1500 w a standard bed, the reason its hard to find is because its very little of them made compared to the crew cab short bed which is the most common for 1500s.. 2500s have an abundance of standard crew cab
