Honestly, some people just don’t like acknowledging the fact that these characters have layers of dimension to them. And as someone who loves such round and well-written characters like the ones in mxtx’s novels, I can empathize with the frustration.
It’s also why I avoid character discussions on platforms like tiktok 😭 not to generalize, but most of the audiences in those spaces tend to hyper-fixate on one single detail, disregard the existing complexities and underlying messages, and blow it out of proportion.
Rather than them misunderstanding characters, it’s more like they refuse to totally understand them.

Hello! I wanted to ask about how the pity system works for different banners. It’s been awhile since I’ve played (2 years) and I’ve forgotten all about how the wishing system works.
Lets say, I wished on the 2nd anniversary banner last year and got in pretty far for the beloved name card but didn’t acquire enough wishes to get it, will my pity from last year’s banner be the same for when the 3rd anniversary comes around?
And cards that i missed like Vyn’s SSR ‘Blooming Fragrance’ and the SR card ‘Cool summer’, which banner do those cards rotate in and when will the next rotation be?
