My ex's son tried stabbing me on multiple occasions at 10 years old. Once he turned 11 things got worse, final straw was I had to restrain him from jumping over a balcony so "people would think I did it" . Luckily I recorded the whole incident and sent to his grandparents. That was the last time I ever saw them.
At first I made her take him to see a specialist but never really knew how it was going because he didn't want me at the sessions.
Found out from the grandparent later on that he was only getting worse and they had also refused to take care of him.
