The 2nd part of Perfect Circle/Godspeed from Mac Miller off the GO:OD AM album is one of the songs that made me saddest when I heard it, fyi I wasn’t feeling that album on my 1st listen but when u really take your time with it, it’s impeccable writing and on that song in particular he was sort of forewarning us of what cud come due to his alarming lifestyle
The song has so much honesty and clarity and is sort of a cry for help without actually asking for it
I find it a hard song to listen to nowadays knowing what the outcome was for his untimely death but I realise it was true artistry like not many rappers can deliver 🙏🏾
It looks like a squad of players that are not happy with the current set up, we all know that Spaletti has had issues with his disciplinary ways at multiple clubs, even at Napoli where he won the league so impressively and left at end of the season
I think that factor with a young squad and no leaders like Chiellini or Bonucci has affected them throughout the tournament & the qualifying process

Then I think Food & Liquor was announced and he put out Kick, Push as the official 1st single and that’s when I thought we have the new age rap Superstar and although he’s had a solid career, a few classic albums imo he didn’t have the incredible award & accolades ladened career, I put that fully down to Major Label woes but he’s still one of my fave artists in all music genres & im just as excited to hear a single or album as I was that 1st time hearing him
Fabian Ruiz and Rodri’s partnership has been the key, the way they are able to switch roles in the Midfield area is very difficult to pick up and Ruiz ability in particular to run with the ball in tight spaces opens up space for the 2 wingers, Nico Williams especially to run at their full back 1 on 1

I’m a big fan of Victoria Pelova, she was always a talented player but since she was moved into the midfield position she’s got even better
Quick feet, great vision and quite combative despite her slight build, she’s obviously the natural successor to Kim Little and she will be a key figure hopefully for years to come

I think Nas tried to incomperate a bit of humour in the streets disciple & Hip Hop is Dead albums with the different accents and voices but it’s so subtle that u don’t even realise it
