Sorry to bump this old thread and I hope you are still on reddit. Are there any viable INSIDE solutions (no access to the exterior windows, no possibilities to install external shutters, no posibility for AC). This is a west-facing apartment, and all walls are glass panels

Depends on what you like. I come from a big (huge) and lively city so the whole Copenhagen feels like a neighborhood size wise to me, and Shop-wise rather underdeveloped as a whole. But I like nordhavn (this is gonna be the next go-to area in about 10 years), Carlsberg (needs further urbanization, but to me it's gonna be the 2nd go-to area or even the first one as it's super central), vesterbro (but a lot of old houses and noise level can be annoying in some areas), and I do like Ørestad as it's modern and the metro and train makes it well connected, but it needs a lot of work, as you say, to be alive.

The only problem with nordhavn is that it is enclosed, and the one way out of it is Østerbro, which is a dead neighborhood. Then you have Nørrebro, which I find quite filthy unless close to the lakes. Hellerup is ok-ish, but gets boring quite fast.

Christianhavn / islands Brygge are nice, but is mostly poorly connected (by public transport and by this I mean train or metro). The city center is a mess. Sydhavn has amazing buildings but it's the most dead central neighborhood I've seen in Copenhagen. Frederiksberg is beautiful, but it's most old buildings and I dont care about those. Some shots there are rather boring too.

Then the rest is depressing and dull, especially all the suburbs (these are extremely depressing). Lyngby has a 3-block pintoresque city center. That's the bare minimum I would take if living in a suburb (I still wound not)

Dynaudio special forty.

All I did was measure again. I thought it had to do with ausb extender I used (the umik cable is rather short and in using a desktop computer) but when I tried again the result is the linked on.

Either way, I don't sonically like the result. It feels like it muffles the mids and highs too much. Feels rather canned.

Same as Sydhavn (a dead neighborhood) but with much more potential (lots of space for shops and the like). I really hope it gets developed as the area is modern and big, I don't think there are any similar areas in Copenhagen / surroundings

Does this second one also look bad? I don't understand why it cuts at 15k

Yeah, 90 degrees and placed the mic facing upwards

I've re run it with just the main position and not it goes a bit past 15K but stops there, can't really tell what the problem is

Umik-1. No weird windows options as far as I could see. I followed the manual. And the playback device is my integrated amplifier via ASIO. Not sure what happened. Should've tried with just the listening position instead of doing all 9 measurements :/

Is this Dirac measurement wrong?Tech Support

Hi, it's the first time I'm measuring. This is a 2.0 setup and I got this weird curve, and the yellow bar at 1KHz seems like something went wrong. I can't seem to find anything explaining if this is normal or not in the manual. Any hints?

I use Oister (cheapest one with 5g and esim) and they let you pick a number (from a list)

Are you "washing" down the borders when brewing? I recently started experimenting with this and noticed the end result is a wet, sludgy bed. This doesn't affect the taste. Same happens sometimes when swirling.

Bed analysis is starting to get close to Puck screen analysis, and we all know how useless that is. I would first focus on taste, if that's wrong then you can look at the bed to aim at getting some hints.

There are a lot of very good vegan imitations. Please don't spread misinformation.

bumping this. I am considering signing up. I don;'t get the negative replies here, as it looks like a no brainer to do so: no cost, it's for purchases in the stores listed, don't need to get any new VISA cards. What's wrong with it?

I'd say they are really ugly in the studio monitor world, but there are a lot of uglier hifi speakers out there. I mean a hell lot.
