You have to have faith there are many good people in this world to create a force. If you know you got a good heart, you can influence what you can in your microcosm. Take care of yourself first to be a strong figure for others in the future.

You’re going to put all your anger and focus to education to a decent job. Not just college education but also learning social skills, financial literacy, and random advices that will help you. That’s your key to freedom - financially and a means to get away from your family and insurance for therapy. You have to focus on building a stable happy support system to replace your family and any toxic friends/groups. It’ll be made of college friends, work friends, neighbors, etc. Build that relationship slowly and strongly. Do not fall into the trap of getting into a toxic romantic relationship and know the signs of emotional and mental abuse.

Don’t covet your struggles. Covet the fact that you will overcome and teach others in similar situations from your experience.

I’m a person with diverse love for music. I think you should try out J Cole, Lupe Fiasco, Childish Gambino, Lil Wayne etc as well. They’re all different types, but in case you aren’t sure where to start but wanted to explore other artists.

Kendrick’s shows, and even crowds are a lot different imo

He typically does have tickets for assigned seats and general floor. Most people are vibing, even more so in the seated areas. Most people are rapping bar to bar or singing just the melody. But you will still hear Kendrick- it’s not that loud or crazy. On the floor, it’s a little bit different. People are dancing and jumping around on beat, but it doesn’t compare to a mosh pit or line of death hehe. It’s pretty chill cos it’s die hard fans that usually make up the audience.

But if you see him at a music festival, that’s completely different. It’ll be hectic, whether you’ll see him at Coachella or Rolling Loud (hip hop fest). I don’t recommend this experience as your first Kendrick concert - you won’t get the same artistry or thoughtful sound engineering. Plus you’ll deal with people on drugs. 😔

You should really consider going to his tour. His performances have artistic visions that I haven’t seen in a lot of concerts.

He also does a lot of features with other artists he likes as well.

I’m American but also got to know Toronto deeply living there on and off… the other guy is right. Drake’s personality is even more common in Toronto than anyone would think. Sigh 😔
