It's physically hard to upvote something so terrible, even if that is the point.

I've been downvoted to hell in the past for nothing this. The colour is off putting to me, I still like the flavour but I'll take the Mayan recipe over green/red any day though.

NOLA. It's legit. And Texans can also be pricks about food that's not in Texas, so take it in stride. If you want more northern cuisine, the cheesesteak factory in Lawson has some heart stopping American dishes.

The fact that it's wider than a Hino 300 or a Fuso Canter says something though. Those are far more capable trucks in a smaller footprint.

I guarantee he is just itching to shoot someone "in self defence"

No, clearly they mean Bundaberg Central in Queensland

It's more like 3-4 flat pieces obscured by paint. And underneath the horizontal cap it's lined with L shaped brackets fixing it to the vertical.

It's a light dolly for paint spraying booths. It has electrical and air connections for your sanding and spray tool attachments so they can go where the light goes.

Here are modern ones https://www.larsonelectronics.com/category/780/paint-spray-booth-fluorescent-lights-portable

The bridge. They hold the bridge together. How dumb are these friends? It wasn't 3d printed.

Bears aren't social creatures, they usually go to great lengths to avoid other bears, even switching from diurnal to nocturnal. I'd say in this instance they were tolerating eachothers presence for the sake of easy food but tensions were high and little homie crossed the line. Just a hypothesis though, I'm not a bear.

I thought there was a 10 year limit on criminal deportation liability. As in after 10 years of residency you can not be deported except in extreme cases. I think it's even called the ten year rule.

I know lots of people liked the song, but I watched the entire thing in a cinema screening and when they did the recap at the end I didn't recall seeing Spain's performance one bit. I was there and must have seen it, but forgot the entire thing in moments apparently.

I don't hate all cops, I have two friends that are cops, but some of them truly are bottom of the barrel people. Serving on a grand jury, hearing a few of them give evidence really showed that they had the intelligence of a house plant.

I find the prevalence of stop signs in the US annoying. It seems like the standard, where's here most signed intersections are give-way/yield, and stop signs are used only where necessary for restricted visibility. Conversely having right on red in the US makes up for it some. Otherwise it's about the same.

The only time I would do that is when my exit is backed up and it happens a lot on my route to work. I'll leave enough of a gap so that I'm not blocking traffic from my left. If they're going straight or right it all works out, if they're turning left we're all waiting anyway

Came out just a little under with a realtor so yes it was too good to be true, and that would've saved us lots of headache. We were selling FSBO at $550k with $25k in estimated work done by the buyer, we're now selling at $578k. So I think she was wrong in saying we were "way under market", and we're paying $25k in commission anyway. We discovered after the fact that the buyer/contractor was a major grifter, and who knows if he was ever genuine. It was our first home and looking back at the contract it left him many opportunities to fuck us over. Fortunately we had an amazing attorney who was a family friend representing us at no charge, because this whole scenario left us completely broke.

They can if they were on the rolls prior to 1984 when they made it citizens only.

Edit: also had to be British apparently

Yes, her whole family came over on the 10£ Pom deal, after leaving India following the partition.

My mum has been a PR for 72 years now. She's never seen any reason to get citizenship, she votes, gets a pension. They gave her grief about a RRV last year when she came back from NZ for a friend's birthday, but her original 1952 handwritten visa had no such stipulation, so they let her through.

It felt like a go cart engine in a 4Runner.

12 people here have commented "make it pink" so it's not as unique as some think. I remember "that guy" that had everything painted pink on a job 25 years ago. Eventually there will be a jobsite where several people will be using pink tools.

WHV can use their foreign license for the duration of the visa, only permanent visas need to convert in 90 days. But you're right having a local license is cheap and easy and it saves lots of headaches with things like online forms requiring a card number and any use of ID for proof of address.

I would take more time, there's so much to do and see along that route, it's a big country and too often people don't leave themselves enough time.

Chainsaws, an MS 271 in the US is A$584, in Australia it's A$900. I'll never understand that. Kitchenaid mixers also suffer the same price difference, but those need to be converted to 240V after manufacture, so that justifies it somewhat, and all the other mixer options here are garbage.

No problem driving for work on your Canadian license. Most if not all states give you the option of converting your license to an Australian one, which can be helpful, especially if you buy a car, but it's not required on a temporary visa.
