be glad the hotel cared enough to close the cenote. They’re full of 💩literally and during rainy season it increases bc the runoff from uncontained garbage and sewage goes right into them because the substrate is porous limestone.

Gallup is an amazing little town imo. Las Cruces is also a good choice. I don’t agree with anything the first poster wrote except for health care - the medical care here is just not as good. I would find a good doctor before you move.

ur comment reminds me of the movie parasite when the family is expected to keep working after their home is flooded

Yep this was the warning (although Shannan shouldn’t be expected to have seen it). Chris was excellent at pretending to be normal but this was a rare mask off moment - he was relishing the moment he’d get to kill and he couldn’t resist torturing Shan’ann in his sneaky way. Someone who snaps doesn’t do this.

Yes, live near any large Native American population. Natives almost never comment on the ethnicity of others unless you are marrying one and plan to have children. I have been amused many times watching people try to get comments and failing.

Beryl only started life as a tropical depression on 6/28. It intensified rapidly because the ocean is 4 degrees warmer which is why it seems sudden. The early onset and intensification are both record breakers. It may downgrade but there is less wind shear so no one knows what will happen.

TLDR: hurricane surprised everyone

Guides and hospitality workers are never going to tell you the truth

I can’t cuz one of those students is me & I don’t want to get sued because It’s not solid proof of cheating like with Krish Patel, but the others all had parents at the labs they supposedly used- yet when general inquiries were made whether a students can use the lab it was 100% no response due to liability issues. One might conclude the students were never in the labs, only their parents were.

There are (mostly) unspoken dangers about visiting when the ground has just been soaked. Here’s an older article that explains really well how sewage is dealt with. The problem has only gotten worse. After heavy rains all that injected sewage rises and purification systems are overwhelmed, also there’s runoff from the garbage piles nearby

Irvine is a fascist nightmare but Laguna Beach is one of the most beautiful and interesting places in the world with the nicest people. If you were bored there, that’s on you

I can’t believe one of them got so drunk he couldn’t find his gun and badge and the others collected evidence in red solo cups

Worst case scenario, there’s no power (and no A/C), the streets are flooded/closed and the beaches are unswimmable until runoff clears. That’s what happened during hurricane Grace and all the flights out were booked

Can’t believe I haven’t seen the champion of underperforming cities, Albuquerque, NM. Love it but the city planning is ?, driving is abysmal, health care should be good but is terrible, and the police here could teach Boston cops a thing or two about corruption. Native American issues are completely mismanaged and they’ve totally dropped the ball on tribal tourism. It’s like the Super 8 motel of cities

Instead of a retrial I vote the prosecutors office and these cops repay Massachusetts the $5m spent on this trial
