Not sure why you’re so adamant it’s not Camembert. Japanese have pretty strict standards on labelling products. Amazon Japan says it’s a Camembert made in Tokachi, Hokkaido.

Also, if you look up to see if Camembert is AOC protected, it is not. So that means you can make Camembert anywhere in the world and call it Camembert. It just can’t say Camembert de Normandie -THEN it would be breaking AOC rules. Key word NORMANDIE.

Sweet. I hope you find someone to scuba with! I may try my hand at snorkelling there with my son, so if you see a lady and her kid looking like newbs, that’s us. lol.

Curious question. I will be there at that time. Sounds like you are clearly scuba diving and have dove there before. Would you recommend it for snorkelling or is it a bit too rough?

It’s Camembert. Japanese love their Camembert. Used Google lens.

Definitely NOT allowed. There are signs indicating this. Also the 14 st police station is just down the hill from the parking lots and they drive through the parking lots nightly to ensure no overnight parking.

Buy used. Check out the watches at Fleetwood Jewellers You’ll get more bang for your buck.

Ahhh thank you. Canadian here. First time watching. Can someone answer two things: 1. Why does everyone want Ronnie? His hairline is nuts and he’s ick. Will the women leave the show and be embarrassed that they all wanted him? 2. Why does everyone wake up with sunglasses on?

Sweetest guy and also an amazing break dancer. Also, is very very educated. He’s just cool beans.

Agree. Billy sent his friends after me on yelp, and I received a private message, after I wrote a bad review when they first opened many years ago. It was tacky, and they used a slur. All because I was complaining about their lack of customer service after 4 visits in a row. (Not gonna go into detail here) But I will never visit the place because of that. They are banned in my house.

Agreed. I went straight to the basement every visit. Loved it there.
Night Gallery, Embassy, Cherry lounge, and bamboo tiki room. Those were my jams.

Yeppers. Beaver fever is Giardiasis : It is a common illness that causes diarrhea (loose stool/poop). The most common way people get sick with giardiasis is by swallowing contaminated water. You can also get cryptosporidium: It is caused by a parasite. Most people get the parasite after swallowing food or water tainted with stool. This includes swallowing water while swimming. Diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps, and weight loss are the most common symptoms.

I regularly backcountry camp and wouldn’t ever drink unfiltered water from a stream in the mountains of Alberta.

And correct me if I’m wrong.. The people who own commonwealth, Mike Grimes and Pete Emes, used to Dj funk in the basement of the Embassy along with Dean Clarke and Al Testa.

Also this book Recipes of Japanese cooking is one of the most comprehensive you can buy. (I have a lot of Japanese cookbooks) but the used version and it works out to $20. Also - if you need true Japanese ingredients go to True World Foods. This is where I go to get my correct Dashi (light) for things like Chawanmushi, and my nicer curries, my correct soy sauces, etc.

I recommend downloading the NHK app (like Japans version of CBC) and going to the “on demand” area at the top of the screen. Then search the type of program “food”. You will freak out at all of the food related content. I watch it daily. And it’s all professional.

I recommend Tokyu Hands now known as Hands

There is one in Ginowan and one in Naha. They have a great stationary selection. And Daiso is always on point for fantastic cool and cheap stationary.

Nope. Not at all.

Agree. If you think you can do it yourself, the parts at the hardware store are about $300-400 and then labour is free. (We did it ourselves)

Kijiji. I got Alberta boot company beauuuuutiful boots for about $100.

Nah. Not on socials other than Reddit. I’m old school ass. Was hoping for the month of August there would be some sweet vocal house playing somewhere while I’m there.

I was waiting for that. “I’m gonna ask a question to a bunch of Canadians, using a measurement (Fahrenheit) that they don’t use. Hopefully they’ll understand”🫠.

I was just specifying the genre and era of house music I’d like to hear. :)
