Red tent, bride by ali hazelwood, the lost bookshop, erotic stories of Punjabi widows, Frederick Backman ( lots) terry fallis( Canadian- funny) a gentleman in Moscow. ( so good!)
As a hygienist I vote to get the bulk of soft plaque off with a toothbrush( preferably electric) then floss then rinse. But as someone who spends almost all of her 8 hour workday trying to motivate people to floss, I’m just thrilled you floss in any sequence!
Also don’t buy stupid mass produced souvenirs.
Take sandwich bags and if buffet breakfast pack a few extra for lunch/snacks. Also bring a jar of peanut butter and then all you need to do is buy a loaf of bread and have 1 great meal out a day and PB the other meal.
Drop him, you will never feel like the vibrant confident woman you should being treated that way.He is undermining your confidence and self esteem. Why would you want that in your life?? He won’t change so move on. You’re worth so much more!
We have 5 and I love them all dearly, they are the best of me and I think number of children is very individual, if there is an age gap it will feel like 2 families- the two boys and a single child which can drastically change dynamics. And 3 always leaves one out( I come from 3) also think about what THEIR adult relationships will be like when your older - if there is rivalry or hostility it is very hard on older parents and also can cause rife for estate planning. Also allll the family memories you want to make just cost 1/3 more- now you need 2 hotel rooms, bigger car, more everything. I say enjoy the kids you have focus on making fantastic memories- work less and retire sooner to enjoy grandkids- treat their significant other as your own and don’t stress on quantity, but on quality of the ones you were given- raise these ones to be kind, responsible, functioning adults that love their spouse and their parents and think about life AFTER kids in the house and all the fun that will be.
Could he have OCD? It may just be his “thing” to feel complete when lids are tightened??
Yes! A pen! For all those forms they hand out, every one always asks to use mine when I’m done!
My rain kilt saved me during hiking in Scotland , gortex and Velcro, so easy to wrap around you and then easy and quick to take off when it’s sunny 10 minutes later. Also great if you’re walking in long grass or sitting in a stadium as a blanket. So much better than rain pants which are impossible to put on quickly without taking your shoes off. My Lululemon scarf that is so soft, I can use as a blanket or scarf and has snaps that do it up. Sleep mask, wax earplugs( way more comfortable) Advil cold and sinus( great for hangovers as well as headaches and pm version helps you sleep on the plane to avoid jet lag) a lock in case you have access to a locker for storage. And ok this is vain but I get my eyelashes done so no makeup needed, saves lots of products being needed. Get smaller bills for tips and I can usually get away with blundstone boots and a pair of shower flip flops( I can always get shoes wherever I need if I have to) and a she wee which is so women can pee standing as so many bathrooms are disgusting or if you on a hike are afraid what you might squat in. Oh and as a woman a diva cup is a must. Sorry if that’s too graphic for some but they are a travel must for me!
Congratulations btw!!!
Where would you suggest an extra day/ rest day. We plan to only do from porto covo to odeceixe.
This isn’t sustainable- just leave and be great friends and co parents. Dont waste your life pretending. You will regret it- trust me.
Very disrespectful on soooo many levels. Find a better travel companion or go alone.
Some bright inspiring art work. I always cleaned one closet and then no matter what I could go open that closet see it tidy and reinvigorate myself to do more. And get some healthy real food not ensure. A small bunch of grapes as your reward for job well done. Or if you have money hire someone and then just work to keep it up. My daughter calls it “ resetting” where you tidy up and “reset” for the next day. She is inspiring to me how changing wording changes your outlook to a more positive vibe.
1 for sure. That way if life throws you a curve ball you can complete as much study as you can and it’s easier to scale back study than ft work.
Ohh honey you are hurting. It’s not fair. You are not the asshole. Is there any way that Rob was ever actually into YOU? and by sabotaging your marriage you become as unhappy as he obviously is. Just a question. Not sure but I feel your pain and wish you well. All are right about Alex being in your life forever- once you have a child you are connected forever. Try to raise an amazing little human and try to leave the BS he brings in your life at his door. Keep up with the therapy, this isn’t over. Ugliness is in your future thanks to the insecure “friend” whispering in Rob’s ear.
Breath. Its good, your supposed to meet new people and have lots of experiences. Be respectful and feel the vibe. She may be waiting for you to ask her out and might be feeling the same things. Just make her laugh and try to enjoy the date. Its life and having your heart beat fast lets you know your human. Good advice given on “ don’t be too horny” lmao.
I feel that this is a time when your kids need stability in their changing world of new baby and divorce. They need you to say they are loved and that you are there for them. Your ex was once someone you loved - try to remember that and set your personal criticism aside and be the bigger person. If this was your friend who called asking if you would take her kids in a similar situation would you? Sorry but black and white- you are TA
Well take a minute to visualize financially what your life will be like, paying him alimony and giving him half of everything. I’m not trying to change your mind in any way at all but eyes open is a good idea
A life time of strife, struggle and ties to a man and family or moments of regret? I think you are young and have so much life ahead of you. Experience some of it and be the best parent when you are ready and sure to be one. If you were my daughter or I was in your shoes I would consider abortion , not of convenience but because I want choices. Do you really want to parent away from your family or be so connected to his?for the rest of your life? ( and all the baggage that may bring) I say be free and forgive yourself. It’s ok It’s just not the time.
NTA, you problem solved and he needs to take your requests seriously.
Listen to your gut, and either way make a choice… can you honestly get over this hurt and live with it or will you always wonder if he really prefers your sister and drag yourself down that rabbit hole again and again. Feeling shitty about yourself each and every time. If you have doubts talk to a therapist and be ready to walk away if you need to.

If I were to pay you 10 billion dollars to suggest a book I'm guaranteed to love, what book would you suggest?
