Singleplayer games with runescape style progression.

I want something slow, chill and grindy, that doesn't make me interact with other people.

Helldivers 2. Presumably this means I have all the armaments a helldiver gets - Throwing an Eagle Airstrike at government buildings

Crime Boss is fun but not incredible. It needs about as much work as Payday 3 does, but in different ways.

If your issue with RPG maker games is boring combat, try Undertale. The central premise is that you can choose to fight, or resolve every conflict peacefully. Going fully pacifist offers the best story the game has, and it's just incredibly charming throughout. The combat itself has a bullet hell system for defending yourself.

Undertale. While the game got a Fucking Reputation from the fandom, it's still an incredibly charming RPG with an engaging story and some really interesting stuff about the Nature Of A Game if you dig into multiple playthroughs.

Truee. If you make it your Main Game it'll suck, but the melee combat is some of the best available. I still suck ass at it though.

Definitely true. I understand that Epic does the bare minimum for it now, but just tweaking some BR features and adding them in would be great for the playerbase to feel like we get something.

I Wanna Maker is INCREDIBLY underrated. Some of the best creation tools in any level-making game out there - while it's intended to help you make IWBTG-style bullshit traps, full custom mechanics are possible. There's no janking together items to try and make something work, you just go in and make it function how you need it to. Great game πŸ‘

Damn I can't believe that it was easier to make a mode with a very simple respawn mechanic and a pile of old content compared to making entirely new games. Crazy, that.

If you just want to play with friends, Payday 2 (not 3) will offer a better, more expansive experience at an even lower price. The big draw of Crime Boss is the singleplayer roguelike mode, while the multiplayer stealth or shooting leaves something to be desired. I enjoy the game, but payday 2 is on sale for dirt cheap because of the summer sale and has an insane amount of varied content, along with better gunfights (The greater enemy variety is the primary reason PD2 beats Crime Boss' gunfights.)

Payday 2 stealth is still dogshit though

See, I think it'd be cool if instead of the Payday 2 implementation of "Do Another Mission" you get to do a fight as you drive through the streets. Blast a few cop cars and helicopters away, and you're good.

hand in unlovable hand

Make sure that the "machine that makes you young again" is purely biological and not somr chronological nonsense - you gotta keep being above 90

nahh i literally just got a random word selector to grab two random words and here we are. laziest person alive

Why didn't they rip the refilling chests from ResurgenceDISCUSSION

Reload is a rip of warzone resurgence. It's very obvious, I don't actually mind because it's still a fun mode. But Resurgence has special chests that, after a certain amount of time, can be opened again. Reload could absolutely use these - it feels like there's never even close to enough heals, or much decent gear available after you've died. Staggering some of the loot across the match would be really damn useful.

i actually quite like B4B and i am so baffled by this opinion

Honestly, I'd drop Baron. This deck is built to play face cards, so leaving kings in hand doesn't have as much value as the mult you get from just playing a Flush Five

The Binding of Isaac. Eraser is an active item that allows you to permanently remove an enemy type from the run.

as a homestuck the color choices for the zodiac variants irritate me in a manner i didn't think possible
