If someone is only averaging $7 an hour after gas and taxes then they need to not do this.

That's because there is so much more cost than gas and taxes. Increased maintenance, increased repairs, depreciation, and extra insurance that we should all carry are all factors.

We aren't cancelling the order. We are unassigning and moving on. Another driver will come get it.

100%. I'd be lying if I said otherwise.

However, I have a pretty high minimum standard of service. All orders go in my hot bag. I don't dilly dally. I'll bring it to your apartment, hotel, or office door if requested and allowed by the property.

Here's a specific area where it would make a difference. If the restaurant has a long wait, then I will wait longer for a higher paying order. And really, we don't know that it's a higher tipped order. We know it's a higher paying order in advance. So if I see an $8 order that I decide to take and I pull up and the food's not ready and it looks like it's going to be a long way, I'm going to unassign particularly when it's busy. But if it pays $12 to $15, depending on mileage, then I feel like I've got a little more time. I can sit there and wait for it.

Acceptance rate does not affect pro status in my market.

Probably does not for most people unless they are signed up for rides.

If people are not signed up for rides and not eligible for rides (even if they don't have them turned on)and are then reporting that acceptance rate matters then that's a new thing. Uber's website used to specifically say that acceptance rate did not matter. Though I can't currently find that so they may be changing it.

That's a lot of trouble. Find somebody like my buddy who will buy them without the fake account. He doesn't care.

Hell, you can go to Walmart and buy a pair. Wad them up in the floor for a couple of days. Then tell him they're used and he'd buy them.

I should have talked about the frequency. My aftercare is to do about four or five different exercises a day. This does not have to be a heavy workout everyday. But activating these muscles daily is what she wants me to do moving forward.

Sort of an alternative to that would be doing a bigger workout 3 days a week. Four or five is better. But two or three is better than nothing. I say bigger workout. It's great if someone wants to go to the gym and do full-on workouts. But these kind of exercises I'm talking about could be done at home with like a 2x4 to step up on. Or steps to use to do exercises. Or a couple of heavy objects to hold while doing squats. Not too heavy.

So if you can find some way to form a habit of doing a half hour of exercises at home before you go to work several days a week, that could really make a difference I think.

There's other things. Something called "bird dog" and "dying bug." You might want to look those up. These are core exercises.

Acceptance rate does not matter. I hit 0% all the time and still get good orders.

Cancellation rate should really only affect your pro status and should not affect which orders you get. Really high cancellation rate may get you deactivated. How high is that number? In the past Uber said it depended on the market and they would not disclose what that number was. I've hit 20% plenty of times and never gotten a warning.

But since they put the accept button on the order offer card, I've had no problem whatsoever keeping it under 5%. That's easy.

Since you asked, I'll get a little graphic.

When I was in my early twenties I ate very specifically. I was into bodybuilding as a hobby. I worked out 10 to 12 hours a week. And I was spending $300 a month on supplements. Which would probably be about double that today. I felt like if I was going to spend that money on supplements then I need you to eat super correctly. I was eating probably 5,500 calories per day.

But everything I ate was on purpose. There was almost no deviation from my diet. There was a good deal of variety. It was well balanced. There were lots of lean protein and fiber. I plenty of vegetables.

But I guess I was just using those calories very efficiently to build muscle. I did crap every day but it was just three or four little nuggets. It was a shockingly tiny amount of poop. I did wipe, but that was more ceremonial. I basically didn't need to. It came out quick and easy. No straining.

I'm not sure if In more of a laboratory setting with some guidance if I couldn't have gotten that down to pooping every other day or every 3 days. Still just a little poop.

I'm not going to say legally or technically, because I don't know.

But that's a damn parking space. If they don't want people parking there they need to mark it. I'd be pissed. Fighting these people is usually a losing battle. Definitely go get your car ASAP. Otherwise you'll rack up storage fees.

I personally would probably be plotting my revenge. The long game. Asking myself how I could cost them $200 later on and it not come back on me?

Sign up for DoorDash and other apps. DD holds nearly three times the market Uber does. But it's market dependent so other apps could be busier there.

However, if that added funding would help get another 81(or more) episodes produced then I could stomach it.

So my questions still are. How long was he driving around with it?

Did it look like he made any stops?

Did the app tell you he was on another order?

And that tipping cash thing is a problem. It's not that we mind getting a tip in cash. Mr is that your order shows up as a $2 order. And no driver takes that. So it might take an hour to get you a driver assigned. In that time. Uber is adding money to the order to get a driver to take it. Which actually works out best for the driver because they're getting paid more base pay plus you tip them. But if it's food, you're concerned about getting hot and this is a problem. This is not your problem with the driver, this is your problem with the system.

Is your problem with the driver or the service?

So the question is, was this person driving around with your order for an hour and a half? Or did the food show up with 20 to 30 minutes of your driver being assigned to it?

If it's the first scenario then your problem is with the driver but I highly doubt that's the case. Though it has been reported as happening sometimes.

If it's the second scenario, the driver did their job. But it's not at all their fault that the order sat at the restaurant for an hour before it was assigned to them. There are other factors in play.

Because you've been fooled by the app companies and you're thinking it's a tip. It is not. It is a bid for the use of your driver's car and time.

Furthermore, you're competing in a market. You're competing against other customers who do put out higher bids. So if you don't put out a high enough bid and nobody picks up your order then that's your fault. That's a you and Uber problem. You can call them and figure it out.

The only caveat I would put on that is if the pain is damaged. Because to me that would be the point in removing the wrap is to make sure the paint is still in good condition.

So I doubt that I would be able to come to terms with somebody selling a car with a wrap.
