Will they give you less orders if the acceptance rate is too low or the cancellation rate is too high?
Short answer is no.
Acceptance rate does not matter. I hit 0% all the time and still get good orders.
Cancellation rate should really only affect your pro status and should not affect which orders you get. Really high cancellation rate may get you deactivated. How high is that number? In the past Uber said it depended on the market and they would not disclose what that number was. I've hit 20% plenty of times and never gotten a warning.
But since they put the accept button on the order offer card, I've had no problem whatsoever keeping it under 5%. That's easy.
Both cancelation and acceptance affect "pro status" but who really cares about maintaining that fir the sake of working for free for them in order to keep it.
Acceptance rate does not affect pro status in my market.
Probably does not for most people unless they are signed up for rides.
If people are not signed up for rides and not eligible for rides (even if they don't have them turned on)and are then reporting that acceptance rate matters then that's a new thing. Uber's website used to specifically say that acceptance rate did not matter. Though I can't currently find that so they may be changing it.
It does here. I have been driving since 2015. (Didn't exist then) but did Uber eats starting in 2019 bc i got sick of drunks (I like nights) and then stopped for a few years and started back to Uber eats beginning in May. Says must maintain 85% acceptance rate to move to gold. This is how much I care about that. And my rating from driving still showing and they keep "urging" me to drive but my neighbor got shot and killed driving Uber (he was a licensed limo driver who owned own limo service but also took Uber rides when slow) Uber black and I guess others back in November and they shot him in the back of the head and jumped out of the car and the car rolled till it hit something. We would chat all the time about Uber and how to stay away from bad areas. Anyway, this is another reason I don't want to drive ppl. I also like jumping in and out for car and walking * and getting the exercise.
i get diamond almost every month and my AR is around 20% i almost never cancel even when i should though.
Odk, maybe bc even though I only have eats and groceries on, my account still has rides too even though I have it off amd haven't done inspection bc I dont want to drive ppl anymore. Not right now anyway.
that prolly why, i never signed up for rides because i don't want the added liability/to deal with folks.
I guess if I get my cancellation rate down under 4%, we'll see but I doubt it because it's still showing for the rides. Other problem is that I don't necessarily cancel on purpose it's them damn Radars when I'm trying to flip them away I'll accidentally hit it and accept it and then I'm like oh hell no I am not taking this haha so I have to cancel
It’s because you’re signed up for rides
I mean, technically speaking I'm not. Haven't done a ride in over 5 yrs but yeah that's what I started with and it's still there so I guess they combine it
If your account has access to it you’re signed up. If you remove it you’ll no longer have AR criteria
It's there, haven't done the required inspection for it for 5 plus years but it is there and used to only do rides for years so I don't think it's gonna go away. And still debating on whether I will do again so I do still want the option there so yeah. It is what it is I guess lol
So I'll be forever "blue" I guess haha
that’s usually optimal, my CR is around 30% because I’ll cancel for better DD/GH orders. AR is 1-5%.
This has also been from several yrs ago. Just went up finally from 98% lol
