[Fischer] In addition to Klay Thompson, sources told @YahooSports the Lakers have an eye on trading for Brook Lopez
'Sources say the Lakers are interested in acquiring the entire league and winning the title by default"
Sources say the lakers and Ana De Armas have come to terms on an exclusive lingerie deal.
glad she's finally getting the respect she deserves smh
that movie where she's cucking ben affleck the entire time felt like she was also cucking me
I didn't know she had a middle ground between clothes and birthday suits.
A lot happens while I’m sleeping bro
"Word is that Jesus is interested in a deal with the Lakers, is said to be attracted to the volume of lost souls in LA" or whatever.
If you said Steve Ballmer, I'd believe it.
That’s what they always do. Bums made me think we might land kyrie three times . I’m over listening to shit till it happens and I know rob sucks so nothing good is gonna happen to make us relavant .
It’s the easiest way to drive engagement in all of professional sports reporting
Dallas Cowboys erasure
I’m told the Lakers and Glen Taylor have been in consistent talks on a deal for the Minnesota Timberwolves
The Los Angeles Prostates
So, the same as every other offseason.
That's how it's always been in the social media era of sports reporting lol
Why would the bucks want to do this
Brook is getting more and more cooked, if they can potentially fleece a team that doesn't see that they'll take it. He's gonna be turning 37 during this upcoming season.
Last season was that bad? The year before he was getting DPOY praise
He was still good but he’s noticeably slowing down. Probably best to move on before if it’s too late if they can find a fair deal.
But what would you guys even want from us
Rui sucks and bucks shouldn’t want him. Reaves and Vando I wouldn’t trade. So Dlo?
Dlo is trash and we don't need another guard, probably a 3 team trade
Lol do you know how thin the bucks are ? Rui or Gabe or vando woukd all play for them ( it wouldn’t be reaves ) and mb one of our minimum
He’s just REALLY slow. He’s still a great 3 PT shooter and a borderline elite rim-protector, but he needs athletic perimeter defenders around him or he’ll get pulled out to the perimeter which never ends well.
You think he’d be fine for us? I like the idea of trading for him as a short term rental since none of the available centers on the market I see as long term fits for us. An expiring player that is still useful for our roster seems good for us, but I don’t know what the Bucks see his value as.
Brook seems like he’s exactly what the Pelicans need next to Zion since he can hit 3s and protect the rim.
It would probably have to be done through a three team trade since there’s not much that I could see the Bucks wanting from the Pelicans that they’d be willing to give up.
Third team gets BI, Pelicans get Lopez, and Bucks get a few rotation players is something I could see working.
Too bad Pelicans just traded Nance and Dyson, both of those might be decent pickups for the bucks since the bigs reserve is really weak
I like the idea of Lopez as a center. It's his age and declining performance that's the issue for me. I think that's why I'm reluctant to trade BI in a 3-way for Lopez, and I'm not interested in extending a 37 year old center who will pair with Zion for only a short while after giving up a quality wing entering his prime.
Ultimately, this depends on what BI's trade value looks like at the moment. If guys like Jarrett Allen are off the table, then that trade does sound more attractive.
He was great when we had Jrue funnel people. Herb Jones could fill that role.
I only saw a few games of his, but he was absolutely getting roasted in them.
He’s on the wrong side of 35.
He’s on the wrong side of 35.
LeGM: I'll take him.
He was decent last year. He needs at least 1 guard that plays defense.
Yes old players tend to regress from one year to the other hard
we're old bruh lol
The lakers don’t have much to fleece. D’lo is a hard no while Vincent and rui are on too long of deals and arguably overpaid. Vando is a nice piece but is an awful fit next to Giannis. I know Lopez doesn’t have much value but I don’t think any of those players make any sense for the Bucks.
They are too old. They need to up their pace. I think they need to move Giannis to center full time to be a contender again.
I think they need to move off him now while he still has value, he regressed a lot
I am playing nier automata right now and read this.
Immediately pressed the x button, simply to doubt
I’ll take a slightly used Anthony Davis😀
Dude im ready to sell brook for a bag of chips, love the guy and thankful for him, but he is incredibly slow, we cant run the floor without it being 4v5.
I reallly wanted to get holmes in the draft
He probably meant Robin Lopez or Mario Lopez
Heard George Lopez is a big fan of the team
Only if he plays as AC Slater
Yea but if they can package Mario with Maria Menounos, YOWZA

JLo would sell some tickets.
AD and Brook would be disgusting on both ends
(Shouldn't have let Brook go the first time, Magic)
It would provide a good amount of flexibility against bigger teams while also letting AD to play the 5 against smaller teams. The question is if he’s too old?
Specifically the Nuggets who has their number. They’re only getting weaker too.
Yeah, or a guy like Zubac who can provide a big body behind AD and crash the boards would be amazing for the Lakers.
Fischer
Their dumbasses should've never let him walk in 2018. Imagine him with LeBron and AD... sigh
That along with trading Zubac will never make sense
Indeed. Could've had a solid frontcourt rotation for years
Should’ve just kept him when we had him, not sure I’d be thrilled making a trade for him now depending on the total package, but fuck do I know
They had Lopez already and let him go.
Not only did they let him walk over $3 million dollars, but they also took Disneyland away from him.
Time for you to learn Cream City, Rui
Sooo, Why did they let him walk away back in 2018 again?
IIRC they wanted 2 max slots to try to get both LeBron and Paul George
also Luol Dengs contract was still part of the cap (~5mill) lol
Lakers always linked to everyone. These stupid agents and reporters think we are all dumb.
The return
The Lakers already got Bronny...so for the love of the basketball gods please save some for the rest of us
What could they offer? If Brook is a positive asset it might be interesting to move him but we also either need the assests to get a good center or straight up a good center.
I've seen an opinion that Giannis needs to play center in order to unlock Milwaukee's offense
The Lakers need to get younger so trading for Brook will help.
See I actually kinda like this because I think the lakers have stuff Milwaukee could benefit from and I think Milwaukee should get off Lopez this summer and move giannis to center for next year
with what assets lmao??? bucks are still trying to win they don't want any of the garbage from the lakers
with that team they could be 2018 nba champs
Brook Lopez would be an excellent fit but not sure they have anything Milwaukee wants.
Lakers have been involved in every player imaginable.
With what? Are going to have to pretend Dlo has value again?
Charlotte is trading down from 6 to 9 with Memphis
The Miami Heat are selecting Jared McCain at pick 15
It's fucking Ware. I'm so sorry y'all.
this guys had proven on draft night he is a fraud
I guess this where Bruce brown would come into play in 3 team deal or maybe bucks would want rui
Yep Lopez and Bruce Brown salaries match
Vando, Vincent and a 1st to Toronto
I'm not taking on 25 mill a year for the next 2-3 years for just 1 first that won't convey until 2030 at earliest
Both guys are solid assets at reasonable salaries. At $12m and $11m, there would be plenty of market for them come the trade deadline or next offseason. If nothing else they turn into more draft capital down the line. Brown is gone after this season either way.
Trade D’Lo for him again
No. Bucks have enough guards that don’t play defense.
I’ve been saying for the last 2 seasons that we need a solid center to play next to AD at certain times. It’s what made the 2020 bubble team so good, our size and ability to go small with Morris and AD.
Having lebron at the 4 makes it much harder to go against teams that have an Aaron Gordon or Naz Reid rebounding from the weak side.
I get the “but spacing” argument, but it means nothing if the other team is getting second chance points all game.
I’m saying we need the OPTION of going big effectively. Wood isn’t strong enough and Hayes isn’t good enough.
they didn't want him in his prime but might get him once he's over the hill and overpriced?
sounds about right
Lakers doing the Saving Private Ryan accelerated aging gif
Too old, too late. Still mad we let him go
brook is kinda washed though
Vando + Vincent I guess I would do
Why not go for mo Wagner?
If lakers get klay and brook they are legit the best team in the west
2024 Klay Thompson and Brook Lopez is a buffet for opposing offenses
That perimeter defense will get torn to shreds
If injuries weren't a thing
No they aren’t. The Nuggets, T-Wolves, Mavs and Thunder are all still better teams.
Oh yeah a klay who's never been the same because of injuries and a near 40 year old who's had recent back surgery are gonna make the Lakers contenders...........
So not only does LeBron get his kid, he gets a super team donated to him at the same time?
1 missing reply
these reporters are milking the Lakers with every single player who might be available.
