My honour hes just a funny guy
Dismissed on the case that Boys will be Boys
Your honor, my client pleads "upsy daisy"
Some anime fans when they gush over a 12 year old who nearly cooked a man in a oven in the first episode an never cares that people love him for over 25 episodes
His crimes are never justified. He's not a sweetie by any means. He's a horrible non-human being. But I love him 🤗
Well, he’s a cat. So there’s your first problem. He kinda makes sense if you think about it
My first thought, I loved the episode where they read over the list of crimes him and his family did.
Honestly you could count the entire wattersons family, they're just too gosh darn hilarious and at times wholesomely lovable to hold their chaos and mayhem against them.
There was an episode where everyone that the wattersons did dirty circled them for revenge. 😭
Your honor he's neurodivergent and a minor
Fuck Dream
Grunkle Stan
He wont commit murder, but dont leave your wallet sitting around him.
I think you forgot he technically committed llamacide
He also kidnapped and put on display a random stranger in need that didn't want to buy his goods.
isn't that non-canon?
Is it? I mean it was a 'halloween' sorta episode so maybe?
Little Gift Shop of Horrors is a non canon episode. The only non canon one, in fact.
I did not know that. How do we know?
The key code in the episode is NONCANON, and series creator Alex Hirsch has said it’s non canon before.
Oh that's funny! I never did the cyphering stuff so that's neat
Okay but that Llama knew too much.
"That llama knew too much!"
"Traffic laws, prepare to be ignored!"
“are you blindfolded too?”
“Nah, but I might as well be with these cataracts”
"What is that, a woodpecker?"
* Crashes into fence *
My immediate thought.
And Ford
And more or less everyone in that dhow
Honestly I think he's more popular than the two kid mcs. Him and Bill probably go at it neck and neck for the two most popular of gravity falls.
Dude invented a new crime
Gruntled Stan! Grunkle Stan! He’s a family man
Looks like he’s repeatedly moving back and forth to be dramatic. Fitting
I love varrick easily one of my favorite characters and the highlight of s2 for me. So your right, he's so charismatic and funny to the point that I spoilers: >! was fine with him getting away scot free lol !<
THAT PLATYPUS BEAR IS POOPING MONEY! gets me every time.
"That lemur! It's earthbending!"
^ Same energy
I think he earned it, he was always more opportunistic than evil, but he worked hard to make up for it
“If you can’t make money off war then you just flat out can’t make money!”
I see he has studied the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition
Do the thing
ALLEGEDLY.
lmao, I'm guilty
I do that in my swivel chair too
Me:Not Guilty.But he planned a terrorist attack.Me:NOT GUILTY
Facts. I’ve even cosplayed that smug, beautiful bastard before, war crimes and all
Eda the owl lady
To be fair her crimes are mostly petty crimes. She's only intentionally harmed people in self defense.
That just means that she can commit many more crimes
Anybody can commit many more crimes
Her crimes make her beloved bc she’s essentially fighting against an oppressive government and a man who is planning to commit genocide. Either that or petty crimes. Either way, pretty excusable!! She’s so charismatic lol
Even the Petty crimes where against the same oppressive government. So all of her crimes were excusable.
Absolutely agree 100 percent
I'm not sure she counts, honestly. The crimes are why we love her after all
Stans ex-wife
Had to scroll too far to find this.
Who is fempunk Spike Spiegel?
I would argue that compelling character design makes her more intriguing in her actions.
Also, Arcane is just, incredible. That final montage was earth shattering.
But I can fix her though -dudes who couldn't fix a thing (me included)
Bender from Futurama.
Bender is the funniest character In that show for me
Shut up baby, I know it!
I think that, for a brief moment in the early 00s, he may have been one of the most prominent Latino characters on television.
This one time, I pounded a guy into the ground with a shovel
Have you ever tried simply turning off the TV, sitting down with your children and hitting them?
Chopper, the best little murder bot in the galaxy
I came here for anakin and I found someone better
To be fair Star Wars has a few characters that fit this category lol
The war crime machine
Honestly, further down than I expected
Technically, it's a banned poster, which is like the opposite of wanted, unless you're "wanted" out of the premise, which kinda counts.
Star Wars is the epitome of "it's only a war crime if you lose."
Anakin: “Oh by the way, you can still have my ship.”
Venator kamikazes into the command ship
Justice is merely the construct of the current power base.
Lord Frieza, the most horrendous scum of the universe is a fan favourite character.
I love love love Freeza.
Even when they brought him back I love how he added a very unpredictable element to the franchise simply because of who he is.
Also Vegeta -- to the point that they made a whole arc about it
I was scrolling for Vegeta and can’t believe he’s not higher. At least people acknowledge Frieza is a evil tyrant. They have barbecues with Vegeta.
Iroh, last air bender
This is my answer too
The laugh about what he will do to the great wall.... Love iroh still tho
Also the part where June fell on him unconscious and he smiled was kinda sus
Yeah but he didn’t try anything, he is a bit odd but has a good heart at least
Being attracted to the opposite sex = kinda sus
"he was the best guy aroooound"
"what about the murders"
"Waht muurraahhh?"
I think about this clip several times a day lol
Same! Something about how he whines the words out just kills me.
While it could be argued that war waged on other nations for the sole purpose of subjugating them is a war crime because people die, Iroh still doesn't strike me as the type to commit actual war crimes like killing women, children, allowing torture, executing prisoners or people who surrender. He strikes me as always having honor just very misguided. Truly terrible people upon losing their son don't just have post traumatic growth they don't just look inward and say "damn! is this how everyone else is feeling losing their sons?" you can be a Warhawk, and not a total monster at the same time as contradictory as that seems he grew up in a warhawk culture and the war had been on for generations before he even took up the mantle. Not trying to be shitty and disagree. Just I don't know what crimes you can say Iroh committed just from what little we know of his past.
Yea, honestly. You can fight honorably even if your country is in the wrong. All he did was besiege Ba Sing Se, which is fair play since it is the capital of the Fire Nation's greatest adversary.
As much as Azula apologists try to argue he did, Iroh did not commit any war crimes that we know of.
Bill Cipher, Gravity Falls
Bill bill bill!!!
light in death note. basically all story started after light start committing murder.
I’ve seen way too many fans speaking in defense of Light.
attractive=misunderstood
So thats why I'm being arrested
Rick Sanchez
Multi-verse best grandpa
If you don't consider the Morty breeding/cloning camps, most of them living in Nazi universes and having a kill count in the millions/billions
Took too long to find this
That’s what I first thought
Scrolled way too far for this.
Literally anyone from Helluva Boss
Is it really crime if it’s in hell?
Well from what we see there are no laws in hell, therefore by the strictest sense, they aren’t committing any crime, with the exception of when they go to earth and kill people. However that raises the question of whether or not our laws would apply to them since they are not humans. So if they had a good enough lawyer there’s a chance they could argue that they didn’t break any laws cause of stuff like “can you really call a bear who kills a man a murder and are they held accountable by the laws?”
Now I'm picturing Saul Goodman to represent I.M.P in court after "if they had a lawyer."
Ngl when I was typing it I started imagining it too and half expected someone to reply to it with a Saul Goodman image or something
Usually if an animal kills someone, it’s put down but helluva boss imps happen to be sentient so that would be unethical technically. So idk if comparing them to actual animals completely works.
There are laws, or at least ‘rules’ because they’re not supposed to be muking around in the human world without disguises and Blitz was basically saying he could blackmail Verosika for using her hell alcohol to make a fish monster. Also there’s apparently courts because Lucifer tried to sue Mammon for copyright infringement but surprisingly they sided with Mammon, but like drugs or murder or whatever is fair game
I think we can all agree that given the current information, it would be hard to determine how their legal system works and to what extent it applies.
Verbalase?
He murdered thousands of eyes
Nah King and Luz aren't criminals that big.
Eda definitely
And Hooty... I think we don't want to know.
But they are all still loved a lot
You expected another character here…
BUT IT WAS ME! DIO!
HAHA I WAS WAITING FOR A JOJO REF
I knew I'd find one of you lol
It’s an anime but he’s like the Perfect example for this (Hisoka from HunterXHunter)
Hisoka! YOU WALK IN FRONT!
You couldn't pick a better gif 😭
It was the first one with hisoka in it so it was less selection and more fate
Heather total drama Courtney Duncan
I think Courtney is pretty controversial but Duncan and Heather yeah they fit
Wasn’t Courtney willing to let multiple people die for money?
Izzy is right there dude
imagine disguising yourself from a royal family into the most wanted freedom fighter, and make an illusion of killing your royal self as if the freedom fighter assassinated the princess, causing your sisters to commit gem corruption nuke and probably other warcrimes, then leaving the mess be cleaned up by your son and the surviving freedom fighters you lied to.
The Ballard of Steven's Mom (and this is just what we know about!) -
- Princess of a Intergalactic Empire
- Almost killed her slave (Volleyball) during a tantrum
- Tricked another slave (Spinel) into waiting for 6,000 years
- Conquered Earth
- Kidnapped dozens of humans to put in a Zoo
- Disguised herself to rebel against Homeworld
- Tricked Garnet (and every other Crystal Gem besides Pearl) into joining her cause
- Imprisoned Bismuth and lied about her fate as a cover
- Faked her death which ignited a catastrophic war
- Used a loophole to force Pearl to keep her secrets
- Toyed with who knows how many men before finding Greg
- Chose to off herself (for real this time) instead of answer for her crimes
- Abandoned her few remaining loyal soldiers to their fate
- Left that mess for her hybrid son to clean up
Pink/Rose was an Well Intentioned Extremist at best.
Almost everything she did after coming to Earth was for her own benefit. She just so happened to take any Gems who agreed with her along for the ride.
not to mention, she mismanaged the beta kindergarten, resulting in the quartzes all having birth defects.
she either did this intentionally or unintentionally, either way, she did not give a fuck about their lives
So real
Eh, to be fair they’re fairy incompetent at crime (if memory serves, been awhile) and are overall pretty good people at heart
I remember being a kid like, damn, can't there be ONE episode where they win, and Ash stops screaming about everything!??!?
Eric Cartman
Eh half of them understand cattman for being a caricature of the most racist people.
I'm gonna go with butters
Bill cipher
Discord mlp
Big Jack Horner from Puss in Boots. If movies count.
Oh that was horrible! Your horrible! You're a irredeemable monster!
Harley Quinn - Batman
Had to scroll way too far to find this. And the same for Joker
Bonnibel Bubblegum and Marceline Abadeer
Princess Azula
My precious murder bby did nothing wrong! It’s just how she was raised!
With how often people bring Catras warcrimes up when critiquing the show, I'm surprised to see her this low.
Stan pines
Not a cartoon character but Junko enosima.
The entirety of the Fire Kingdom Royal family
Vegeta is a genocidal, race supremacist who continues to scream the superiority of his autocratic ethnostate. And everyone loves him.
Stan Pines
Peter Griffin
Stan pines
catra applesauce meowmeow
technically Dr. Doofinshmirtz
Blitzø.
Like 90% of the cast in FMA over half of them are literal war criminals and the rest have committed at least one crime. The only exceptions I can think of are Nina and Rose.
Doofenshwertz
He never actually ends up doing anything though, and certainly never hurts anybody. He doesn't really do anything that's particularly evil or nefarious (and even what he tries to do is pretty mundane)
Anakin, I think.
Kuromi, specifically how she is in Onegai My Melody. I wish more people talked about it.
Every Warhammer character
Princess Bubblegum
Any character from Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss. I myself am guilty of this.
bill cipher. also, most villians
Muscle Man from Regular Show
Mr. Krabs from Spongebob Squarepants
Hondo Ohnaka, Bo-Katan Kryze, Cad Bane, and Admiral Trench from Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Grand Admiral Thrawn from Star Wars: Rebels
Montgomery Burns, Bart Simpson, and Moe Szyslak from The Simpsons
Brian and Stewie from Family Guy
Eda The Owl Lady from The Owl House
Catra, and the Netflix She-Ra fans
Murdoc Niccals
garfield
Literally anyone from thr Harley Quinn show
Only one man is capable of ending every one of his weapons with an “-inator”.
Guts from berserk
Chopper from Star Wars rebels
Gumball Watterson
