My orange does too. But it’s usually to announce he has received his meal from the blessed auto-feeder and now requires snuggles, proceeded by him hopping onto the bed, stomping all over me, and then snuggling in.
Didn't you know that the song of his people sounds best at 4:00 a.m.? The song of his people just sounds flat and not good during the day, but at 4:00 a.m. it really pops!
I also have a vocal dingus, but not an orange. She will holler, and if the response isn’t satisfactory she knows right where to go in the hallway where it will echo the loudest. She’s the loudest domestic cat I’ve ever known, and I’ve known scores of them. 😆
I started closing my bedroom door at night. My orange started launching himself against said door, hitting it over and over while screaming, until he manages to pop it open. 🤦🏼♀️
Oh my god this post could have been written by me!
This is our orange Hendy who does the exact same thing. Screams until all hours of the morning. I'm constantly yelling back at him and calling him a dingus!
He's such a dingus but also a sweet boy when he's quiet.
I have a an orange girl who will look at me with disdain when I ask her to come to bed…3 hours later I hear scratching at the door to let her in to cuddle…
My screams at 3 am until I get up and stand next to her dry food bowl while she eats. She wants me to guard her. She won't eat unless I stand in the kitchen. Eats for 30 seconds then circles my legs wants head pats. She'll stand on her hind legs and push her head in my hand if I don't. Then eats a bit more repeating the circles and head pats for like 5 minutes or so.
That’s such an orange thing lol.
Mine starts making a mess of the place when i try to stay up a bit later than his routine bedtime.
Them be sassy goobers
My baby (orange) used to sleep until my alarm went off to get ready for work. And it goes off plenty early (5:30am), but he has recently started waking around 4:00 something and continually howling. We are having heart-to-heart conversations about it. My youngest is still sleeping until it’s actually time to get up.
