Not in power but stamina and reserves.
Sick Itachi absolutely still had better stamina than Sasuke when they fought. His stamina is actually quite underrated. He outlasted Sasuke and beat Orochimaru in the process, meanwhile the same Sasuke managed to outlast Deidara with still enough chakra left to suppress Orochimaru.
Sick Itachi still probably has better stamina than the akatsuki members barring Kisame, Pain and Obito
I agree
His chakra control is actually insane, maybe up there with Tsunade and Sakura. People don't talk enough about Itachi's top tier control, he's a genjutsu Master afterall.
It's not about having more chakra than others, but much more control over his available chakra than most.
He does have more stamina than other though. It's achieved through chakra control efficiency.
Noone is saying he has more chakra than them, only more stamina. Those are different things you appear to be mistaking them for interchangeable.
True, my bad.
Sick Itachi didn’t have more stamina not only did Sasuke have to use more chakra because Ms>3t he was also actively suppressing Orochimaru.
He was completely out of chakra by the time he launched kirin, he even says it himself. Meanwhile Itachi still held up and used his susanoo and implanted an amaterasu to Sasuke.
Your assessment about the MS and the base sharingan is the other way around, the MS is stronger but those abilities use up far more chakra than any of Sasukes abilities, by using his MS abilities Itachi used up more chakra than Sasuke did and he still was able to keep up his susanoo when Sasuke couldn’t even hold his base sharingan anymore and had to resort to paper bombs and his sword against a susanoo.
Again he was suppressing Orochimaru lol that took up a good portion of his chakra.
Sasuke has to put in more effort to counter those abilities. Breaking Tsukiyomi had a mental toll, oral rebirth used up a lot of chakra. Sasuke’s is expending more chakra using weaker jutsu ti make up for the power difference.
What? Sasuke used that jutsu once. You think a one time use of oral rebirth is more chakra draining than the 5-6 separate shots of Amaterasu that Itachi shot at him prior to that? Itachi also isn’t just expanding chakra unlike Sasuke, he’s putting some absolutely ridiculous toll on his already weakened body and eye since using those abilities hurt him physically aswell, which is not the case with Sasuke. Even MS Sasuke after just using the first stage of the susanoo claimed that every cell in his body was hurting and questioned how Itachi managed to endure the complete susanoo.
Oral rebirth was directly stated to use up a large portion of chakra and that’s ignoring all the chidori variants Sasuke used prior. Second itachi didn’t use Amateuratsu 5 or 6 times he used it twice he merely had the flames chase Sasuke lol.
No he used 5-6 different shots, read the fight again, all the “missed shots” started burning up the forest. Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and the Susanoo have also been stated to use up a lot of chakra many times.
No he didn’t chasing Sasuke’s and missing counts as one shot lol.
TBH if Sasuke would have had the Totsuka blade he would also have 1 shotted Orochimaru, that thing was so OP and unexplained that had to be removed immediately alongside the Yata mirror
I agree on the stamina statement though
Even in power
MS Itachi >> MS Sasuke
Totsuka Blade + Yata Mirror >>> Sasuke's entire arsenal
W take
Facts, I said not in power because it wasn’t the point of the post lol
Definitely, people always make the baseless assumption that Itachi for some reason has terrible stamina.
It’s just a common misconception used to downplay his battle capabilities, funnily enough he purposely spammed jutsu to lower his reserves.. you could make a case that his chakra hadn’t fully depleted because his susanoo only dropped when he actually died, but that’s just an assumption.
Because he does lol he needed to rest after 3 Ms usages in part 1 and doubling that amount killed him in part 2.
He literally intentionally threw every fight in part 1.
He didn’t use 6 MS abilities at the hideout. He used 6 + Susanoo twice. And he used them in a way that intentionally drained chakra so that Sasuke could win.
How is winning throwing a fight lol?
Beat Kakashi
Beat Sasuke
Fled from Jirayia
He used Ms 6 times lol.
Tsukiyomi which Sasuke broke, Amteratsu 1 to overwhelm Sasuke’s Katon, amteratsu 2 to chase Sasuke down, Sussano to defend against Kirin, Sussano to flex on Sasuke and seal Orochimaru, implanted an Amteratsu
That’s six times.
Because he ran away when he had the upper hand.
My bad. Clearly had a poor count on the MS abilities in the Sasuke fight. I was doing it from memory so it was off. I just reread the fight in order to get a more accurate count, and he used 9 MS abilities (One of which was overly extended so should really count as more than one) + Susanoo 3 times. I suggest you reread the fight as well to improve your count.
This is regular MS Sasuke right? Why the hebi photo? Either way itachi > Sasuke until Sasuke got EMS. then EMS Sasuke > MS itachi prob due to stamina
Yes regular Ms sasuke and Hebi sasuke.
Sick itachi still outdoes both when it comes to stamina
Nah
EMS Sasuke > Edo Itachi > MS Sasuke > Sick Itachi > Hebi Sasuke
Checks out perfectly
Ems sasuke can’t be stronger than edo itachi based on how much better itachi did in their kabuto fight
Me when I stop reading the manga after Edo Itachi died
I’d argue early ems(kabuto fight) loses to edo itachi due to itachis spirit weapons and Iq/experience.
Ms itachi still outclasses Ms sasuke, it’s stated sasuke only surpassed sick itachi once he gained ems.
Literally the only thing Sick Itachi have over Hebi Sasuke is the Susanoo.
That’s just blatantly wrong. Itachi has superior intelligence, speed, strenght, visual prowess overall… he also has a better arsenal that works well with his intelligence.
He also has sensory as he could sense the 8 headed hydra while blind.
HAHAHAHA no, but it will probably be considered that here in this "itachi bad and anyone who disagrees is an itachitard/fanboy" sub.
Nah, Itachi outlasts sasuke in his battle when sasuke has boosted reserves from orochimaru .. not only that itachi was using more potent jutsu, tsukiyome and Amaterasu.. and sat in his susanoo up until he died.
FKS sasuke also has lower stamina because he hadn’t done as much as itachi did in his battle, Mind you itachi purposely didn’t take his medicine to be weakened that fight.
Yeah but that's logic. You can't use that when Itachi is the subject of conversation. You have to say he loses everything and then insult anyone who says the opposite and call them itachitards and fanboys.
Mind you itachi purposely didn’t take his medicine to be weakened that fight.
Woah I didn't know that. I know he held back and wanted to die ofc, but where did you get this medicine info?
In a couple of the novels, as well as some of the "anime canon" games... It's expanded just how much Itachi nerfed himself... He didn't take his meds, he sparred with Kisame earlier in the day, and stood out in a rain storm for a while hoping to get even sicker... All to make it so he could put on a better facade of trying to beat Sasuke before intentionally losing.
And people in this sub still think Sasuke actually beat a real Tsukyomi 🤦♂️
Yes he did
The anoint of dickriding this show does to make itachi strong is pathetic they should’ve added a bit where itachi injected the bubonic plague into his blood stream so he make himself lose more
Wasnt it revelaed in the novels that the meds were so strong that it would render a normal shinobi unable to move?
Idk but it was probrably true if it can stop this mf with ninja aids from completely falling over and dying
Disagree, sick Itachi would have never been able to spam the MS as much as Sasuke did. The databooks gave even part 1 Sasuke a higher stamina rating then Itachi, though I'm not the biggest fan of the databooks so I don't mind not counting it. Itachi is efficient which allows him to last decently long in a fight, but when he has to use his MS you can really see the toll it takes on him which can be directly compared to Sasuke's own usage.
The English translations of the databooks are trash and this is their fault they didn't correct their mistranslation until databook 3. It's actually explained those character stats are individualistic, IE measured differently for everyone. And only meant to be compared to the same character in later databooks. Cross comparing characters like that is not at all a valid comparison.
Whats the point of a stat that is individualistic? Like why is Itachi's stamina a 2 when it's only going to get worse the longer he lives. There has to be something they're bring compared to or else characters would have all 5s at their peaks.
Sick itachi has superior stamina, he was on his deathbed sick while also kinda damaged from Kirin since it blasted his cloak off meaning he took considerable damage from it.. yet he still managed to sit in his susanoo and kill orochimaru, then walk up to sasuke still in his susanoo basically dead atp.
Even tho itachi spammed so much he still showed crazy stamina
Itachi ran himself into the ground to last that whole fight, which I wouldn't really count as stamina. The toll his MS abilities took on him was massive and he ended up barely even being able to maintain susanoo at the end. It just can't be compared to Sasuke who can fight an entire battle with susanoo up while also launching amaterasu on top of it. Itachi is a better fight than MS Sasuke but it's not due to having better stamina.
You do realize itachi had use his Ms way longer than sasuke has? He’s actually shown throughout the novels and manga to use his abilities even more than sasuke has meaning his eyes were way more exhausted than sasukes newly fresh Ms that he’d only used so few times…
The susanoo part also has something to do with his chakra.. the fact that he held it up meant his chakra never hit 0 yet because if it had he would’ve died earlier
I don't why your trying to up Itachi's stamina when he was stated to be on his death bed during his battle against Sasuke. He was a walking corpse kept together only by drugs and his will to die in front of Sasuke to complete his goal. He was able to keep the fighting going so long only because he was okay with running his body into the ground since he knew he was going to die in said battle. Itachi did well to hold on for as long as he did but shortly after his goals were met he died.
