Wife got me a new ATH-R70x. I know the impedenace of this is quite high at 470 ohms but I currently don'y have a dedicated amp that can drive that. Any recommendations? Hopefully something that won't go past 200 USD?
I'll check it out!! !thanks

Recently got the R70x as well - absolutely love it!
Don't let the high impedance throw you off, they're highly sensitive and can be driven fairly easily.
Using my Samsung S23 Ultra as the source, I use the Qudelix 5k or Hidisz XO (both <$100) and there's more than enough power. I should mention that I replaced the stock cable with a 2.5mm balanced one from Amazon.
Maybe i just got scared withe the high ohms lol !thanks

I'm also thinking of getting this headphone. Would my Topping DX3 Pro+ be enough?
Any JDS Labs amp will drive them. I’d go with Atom 2.
