Thats why i like him, he is very human (not the only one tho, just my favourite out of the better ones) and he seems like he actually gives a shit and the scars know how to both fight and enjoy themselves, they are not just weapons to be used, and his legion is one that uses common sense and tactics, camo and stuff when needed, and i think thats neat, also i always love mongol themed factions in games and such, always loved the aesthetic
Him and Smurf are the best. Smurfs only down side is he has an excel spreadsheet stuck in his head. Kahn’s is he just wants to go fast. But given the plains he comes from I don’t blame him. That would be dope l!
Is Smurf Guilliman?
Yes, it’s an older joke cause his name is so darn weird, long, and he is blue.
You take that back about Rowboat Gurillaman.
How dare you speak of Rawbutt Girlyman like that
My friends and i sometimes call him "Rap about grill mechanic"
Don't you mean Robust Gilligan?
Slowgoat Swirlyham
Ramen grillerman will always be known as a Smurf
He is king of the smurfs, he is papa smurf
Are y’all talking about Roberto Guillermo?
Never gorillaman will never be known by anything else
You mean Robert Gudmo?
Ruby Gillman?
That's Papa UltraSmurf for you 🙂
Yep, i also like robby, vulkan and russ are also pretty cool in my book, i still wanna know how the hell they found a horse big enough for the khan back when he conquered chogoris
We can get some pretty big horses irl so with some breeding I wouldn’t be super they could come up with one. And if all else fails he could just run
The mongol horde riding towards you, but the khan runs ahead of them on foot, still taller and faster than his army, that would be hilarious (and fucking scary)
Fun fact: Mongolian horses were smaller than average with them being about 4 feet/4.6 feet tall at the shoulder. So it may not have been a hard thing to pull off, honestly.
His sword is already bigger than people and he swings it around like a kid.
Steppe horses tend to be smaller than their contemporaries, so I guess it wouldn't have to be too abnormally huge.
Some breeds of modern Draft-horses probably could. But they aren't very fast compared to normal Steppe ponies. Draft horses are bred to pull things. I'm guessing they have some unique types of horses or DAoT genetic work.
Now i'm just imagining a situation like the poor horse that Radahn rides in his boss fight in Caelid.
The only grimdark intergalactic CPA (Certified Primarch Accountant) in the universe.
You don't like Vulkan?
Is he sweet and most lovable yes. But for his purposes and what he has done? No. Vulkan is a lot better than most primarchs but not one of the greatest. Being a perpetual takes away any sacrifice he can make.
I think there was a chain reaction that destroyed the temple-Gargant in a massive explosion, which seemingly obliterated both Vulkan and The Beast. We will see if he comes back. Who knows.
Idk man, saying Khan human is not entirely true, people tend to forget or don't know he is also really brutal. He literally hanged the heads of his enemy outside his tent when he tried to unify his homeworld. He also says that do not just kill the enemy alone but also their entire family or anyone involves. But it's also true when there is moment in HH that he cares about saving lives.
Because Jaghatai understands what it means to have wisdom and use it
Corvus is has great common sense and he and Raven Guard care about civilians too
One of the reasons why Raven Guard and White Scars are BFFs lately
Corvus is so underrated which is fitting cause his thing is being sneaky but they are by far my favorite space marines, and it sometimes surprises me how slept on the Raven Guard are.
Plus black is easier to paint than doing the white scars. That said Jaghatai is also wildly slept on.
I just read Deliverance Lost and an interesting part about Corax's personality is that he doesn't have any
Backhanded compliment?
Meanwhile Corvus in the warp, bullying lorgar, chilling with the energies of the immaterium, going full crow mode
Slaughtering everything deep behind enemy lines, literally purpose behind his creation 💪
On the other hand bullying Lorgar , how can anyone hate that?
I mean yeah, i listed all those as positives, lol, he is cool
Yes but the Khan also understood that the emperor was tyrant and despite knowing this he still sided with the emperor because he knew that even though he’s a tyrant he’s better than the dark gods. Also Jaghatai is a roast god bro really hurt Fulgrim and Mortarian with those burns
Correct
Corvus however was told about the existence of Warp by the Emperor the day they met and about the ultimate endgame of the Crusade
Corvus wouldn't have signed on otherwise, conquest for the sake of conquest was not enough but with something more behind it it made sense
He knew that tyranny was not intended to be permanent state, it was just a means to an end, Emperor intended to retire eventually and relinquish control to regular humans
Crusade and Webway were on a timer and Emperor told Corvus about it
This maybe true but has Corvus ever roasted mortarion by asking him where Typhus is so he can fight the real leader of the death guard
Oh yeah, that's a propa roast 🔥
When I heard that while listening to Warhawk on audible I had to rewind and hear that again because that was just sick
Bro obliterated morty like eminem did in 8miles, he was straight up spittin fire
a Raven Guard and White Scar buddy cop novel, please
also, i thought i read somewhere that they were bitter rivals? have they squashed the beef?
They give a shit about civilians? Ive never heard this because i never really looked into them despite them being my favorite aesthetically
Not to the extent of Salamanders, more on a Raven Guard level. They won't compromise a mission to save civilians, but they will go out of their way to help civilians if they're able.
Also they're generally very open with civilians/baseline human troops, they're not aloof like a lot of marines are, and culturally they're very plain-spoken. So if they have no way to save you, they'll say that to your face, and try to give you an option to take some of the enemy with you if they can.
That sounds startlingly like competency.
Makes you wonder… which primarch is most likely to wear a cap? Converse (shoes)? Have a denim shirt?
Cap: Leman
Converse: Corvus
Denim shirt: Rogal (when the plaid one is dirty)
Corax does it all the time, no one notices.
Rogal, as the most American primarch is definitely wearing a baseball cap.
Good old Rowboat Girlyman
I own a Chogorisian recurved composite bolter for home defense, since that's what The Great Khan intended. Four traitorous Drukhari break into my nomadic ger tent. Throat Singing as I grab my Chogorisian recurved composite bolter with barbed bolt round and shoot open an untreatable hole in the first Eldar, he is dead on the spot. Draw my Attilan Inferno-tipped hunting lance on the second man, miss him entirely because Chogorisians didn't use hunting lances and nails the neighbor's biggest giga-sheep. I have to resort to the Hwacha mounted on the top of the yurt loaded with Imperial Krak-tipped arrows. "Uuhai!" The Krak-tipped arrow rain shred two men in the burst, the stray arrows eradicate my clan's entire herd. Mount Chogorisian pony and trample the last terrified rapscallion. He dies of internal bleeding waiting for his Haemonculus to pick him up since the messenger Wracks often got lost (read: butchered). Just as The Great Khan intended.
Vulkan, he’s just really cool and awesome and he’s the nicest of the primarchs. He probably can cook really well too. 😀
He probably grill a stake to perfection
Or an Eldar youth!
did he stutter ?
If by perfection you mean well done. I love Vulkan, but can’t see him being anything but indiscriminate with his flame.
I went to a black cookout a few months ago with my girlfriend’s family, and oh my goodness the food was good.I haven’t stopped thinking about it. Her uncle was the grill master and looked like Vulkan with brown eyes, so i wholeheartedly believe this
Sanguinius is dead and it's still him.
Sanguinius the We're all Gonna Die but Fuck it let's ball.
Truly the best of them all.
Why he so short?
He keeling down to fit in the picture
Maybe the elf are just absolute units in height?
he's standing with his dick
Again, why so short then?
He is not short, Eldar, especially Dark Eldar, are just very fucking tall.
They’re not that tall. Primarchs would still have a few feet on them by conservative estimates were given.
His legs were removed
My boy, my Johnson.
So handsome
So strong
So...✨️paranoid✨️
He's perfect
I am so gay for him
I am his Yandere Iron Warrior stalker
you know...the spanish fan-translation of horus heresy stuff had an internal joke. The translator made up quite a bit regarding the lion's sexual preferences XD
I'm not saying the lion is gay, but Lionel Johnson who wrote the poem "dark angel" probably was. The Rock was named after a gay bar of the same name near the original games workshop studio.
So it really did exist and wasn't like an actual gay bar, but like a bar which was cool with the gays drinking there type of thing. Like, a socially progressive bar.
Hay what do you think thay named the rock after
Brother Johnson?
Also he's the greatest swordsman of them all. And he had a toxic relationship with his elder mentor.
Greatest swordsman besides Sanguinius
That'd be a epic duel! I guess Sangy in fully powered up angel of rage mode would win, but loses in his "normal" state.
Out of loyalist ones its hands down Jag.
Out of chaos ones, my snake lord is pretty dope af
I heard you do strange things to your warriors
Retainer Grievanceman: JAGHATAI !!! A word if you would.
Retainer Grievanceman is a new one. I’ll take it.
Indeed. Generous yet Can’t-Breathous has plenty of nicknames too, I’m sure.
You mean fulgrim? But he was a vain sniveling little wretch. Quickly replaced by that demon that tricked him with a shiny sword. Didn't take much tricking either, let's be fair.
He always was a Tiny man in a massive body. Gw guys had to pull a George Lucas to explain how a character like that could actually have been friends with Iron Man a la clumsily written 'fond memories' of how these polar opposites could be friends, despite having zero on page chemistry. Which always bugged me. All these guys are all essentially soldier types, who banter like hell (barring the strictly anti social primarchs, which feels far more believable than the odd couple friendship we are asked to just accept.) Fulgrim being a special little princess is far too thin skinned to take part in banter.
U r just jelly of his snake body and 4 arms
I hear he does strange things to his soldiers.
Slaanesh aligned chaos space marines. Come on, how strange could it be 😈
To be fair it was Fabius doing all that. Fulgrim just gave the nod.
Edit : ah yeah. Actually incorrect. The comment was passed at an earlier stage in the chronology - when they were working on the blight rather than naughty bio upgrades.
People love to take that line out of context lol.
I'm actually currently listening to Scars, so it's super relevant! I actually laughed out loud at the exchange. Jaghatai gives no fucks
“Oh you’re trying to cure space cancer? Lol sucks to be you” - the khan.
Yeah it just makes Jaghatai look like an insecure prick.
Fulgrim makes a light jab at him about him modifying his ships and then Jaghatai mocks him for….working hard to cure his sons rapidly deteriorating conditions as a legion and desperately trying to rebuild the legion too….
Oh, I missed where the Emperor's Children were afflicted? I thought that was the Thousand Sons? Which book talks about the space cancer RE: Emperor's Children? Maybe I genuinely missed that in Fulgrim?
The Emperor’s Children are so few in number because of a thing called “The Blight”. The Blight corrupted the gene-seed stock of the EC, and caused organ degradation.
Because of the blight, when the 3rd Legion met their primarch, there was a total of 200 of them. 200 marines in the entire legion.
The “strange things to your soldiers” Khan was talking about is in reference to Fulgrim and Bile’s attempts to combat the Blight.
Bile experimented on the dead emperor’s children, and found a way to test for blight. So they executed any infected ones so that it wouldn’t spread. This was all in attempts to find a cure.
So, Fulgrim makes a joke about khan modifying his ships, Khan makes a joke about Fulgrim doing anything he can to get his legion to stop literally degrading and dying from a disease in their gene-seed.
Of course I could be misremembering, so anybody should feel free to correct me.
A bit different but Corvus.
Smart, clever, badass, a solo warp entity now, and he genuinely cares for his kids.
Also Gulliman is pretty sweet.
Corvus has a jet pack
Had a jet pack. Now he's probably got demon crow wings.
Isn't the jetpack just for show, now ? I mean he has fucking WINGS !
He is not even the best elf fucker amonst the Primarchs lul
What do you think the Khan has been doing in the Webway
Need for Speed: Commoragh Edition
More like Cummoragh y'know what I'm sayin?
Winning at life like outside the webway
My stupid ass theory is that the Khan has been sleeping with tons of dark eldar watches before finding an elf Femboy and settling down with him
What about rowboat?
He doesn't fuck he gets pegged
Dark eldar shit ig....
At night, Yvraine explores his forbidden webway 😏
Cause they kill them
Khan and sanguinius are tied for my favorite
If that picture portayed another space elf with CHOGORIS tattooed on her butt, the universe would be whole again.
Corvus Corax
Great leader, great warrior, great dude with great upbringing who cares about people and he hoped that one day wars would end and he and his sons could retire and live their lives in peace
Plus he is a stealth ninja assassin
Would be perfectly in character for him to ride Thunderhawk in battle with 'Fortunate Son' blasting from the speakers
Dorn but that’s because of TTS which is canon.
My favourite part of the Horus Heresy is when Nathanial Garro tells him ‘Horus is a traitor’ and then Dorn punches Garro across the room and locks himself in his room for several days, with Imperial Fists noting that they could hear the sounds of tables and other furniture being broken and smashed the entire time.
It’s like when you find out your best friend is sleeping with your gf.
More like when you find out your weird brother is driving to your dads house with a loaded shotgun, and had already killed a bunch of your nephews.
Now i am picturing him smashing the table, instantly rebuilding it just to smash it again.
For me is and always will be Sanguinius.
Survived on a rad soaked moon, protected the humans who adopted him and managed to defeat the mutant tribes on Baalfora so the humans can live in peace; asked Big E what would happened if he refused coming with him; the only one of all the primarchs to actually ask that, changed the revenant legion into noble warriors (except amit to a certain degree) and pretty much loved by everyone in the imperium, and the best part, sacrificed himself against Horus despite knowing this for years thanks to his psychic abilities that gave him a future sight.
He is very fast but still gets some eldar... Wait a minute, best Primarch is still Vulcan!
If I play the tabletop, I'd always purchase ferrus first. He always comes with 10% off
He knows where beauty lies… in the BIG TITTY ELDAR GIRLFRIEND/BOYFRIEND!!!!
Curze, and its not close
dont @ me
If the khan is the best primarch, then I'm magnus the red
So you love him too?
You spelled Corvus wrong.
After reading lion son of the forest, and know no fear, it’s a tie between Guilliman and returned lion
Young lion eh but the old lion is very superior.
Konrad Curze. He’s handsome, has great taste in fashion, a great legion and bringing Justice where ever he goes.
Curze was murdered by the Emperor, and therefore was objectively correct in everything he ever said or did.
G Man, he broke physics to protect his mother
The khan and the angel are nearly even for me, with hawk boy having a slight advantage because angry angels are cool
Khan didn't do nothing wrong enough
Dorn, dude was tempted by Korne for however many hundreds of years in his own little pocket dimension and started reciting the laws of war to him. Dude is unbreakable.
Book?
Siege of terra: The end and the death
Didn't he also end up forgetting who he was, and even then he still refused to submit?
Yup, he tried to recite facts in order to stave off memory loss of having been in an endless desert for hundreds of years, to the point where the only fact he could remember is: I am.... unyielding... and then eventually comes back out of it by reciting ancient history and the establishment of rules of warfare and by continously scraping escape plans on the aide of the endless desert wall.
That’s a strange way to spell Perturabo.
Peter Turbo: When I die I want the six of you to be my pallbearers...
Traitor Primarchs: Brother...
Peter Turbo: ...so you can let me down one last time.
I mean every Primarch is the best...
Ok.
Curze because he’s quirky.
Rogal Dorn
Very fast
There is many good ones.
Roboute Guiliman is the best leader.
Vulkan is good.
Jagatai Khan is good.
I like Corvus Glave. He is cool. Leman Russ is awesome.
Imma be real I love my siege autist as much as the next hazard stripes enjoyer, but the Khan is pretty cool
The drukhari made him into quite the fetching rug
Whats best in life?
Vulcan because he is friend
In the jungle for loyalist, Bitter Turbo for chaos, Batman for all, Headless for the dead
Khan is cool but I personally don't vibe with mongolian aesthetic. It's cool, just not my thing, I like lance wielding cavalry more(Rule Bretonnia the waves)
The Khan is rational but sometimes a bit cowardly. When Big E came he folded like a chair and handed his kingdom over.
And the best Primarch is obviously ✨Sanguinius✨
…he saw what the emps was and knew what would happen if he stood against him.
Jaghatai Khan: Is skeptical of Big E's ambition but trades his independence and gives his loyalty to Big E in exchange for preserving the culture of Chogoris
Fans: Boo! What a coward! He immediately folded!
Sanguinius: Sees Big E. Immediately starts crying. Asks the Emperor to please leave his people untouched
Fans: OMG! What a Gigachad! Please have my babies!
I mean I like hawkboy but it's unfair to say Jaghatai folded when he simply assessed that the situation was beyond his power and negotiated the best possible deal he could.
By that logic, half the Primarchs are cowardly because they submitted. The Khan only joined the Imperium because otherwise everyone he knew and cared about would die. And he also managed to secure Chogoris as a free world, without Imperial industrialisation
Why does the fanart have him with Eldar? I thought he hated them.
Dunno i like the khan vulkan and guilliman all the same! Sanguinius too but he isnt around anymore sadly.

Pre heresy Lorgar was my favorite. I'm not sure what he's like as a demon prince, though
Hanging out with dark eldar women like a champ!
I mean, wasn’t Sanguinius all about being perfect?
And why didn't he hunt down the marines of his legion who declared for Horus with specialized companies like "the horse leg" and "the death leg".
Cuz he understands people can make mistakes, even augmented 1 too. As long as they make amends and do better, he gives them second chance. Look at sagyan mazars.
Corax. I do love the Lion and of course Sang a lot but Corax just feels right. I love him being able to see through the emperor briefly as a regular man and his love for his sons. Fuck lorgar!
As for chaos, I still love Mortarion. I need to read more on him. He knows he was a weapon created and this internal conflict gets at me. Idk why but I feel for him.
Curze and the Night Lords when they were (briefly) the dispassionate Lawful Evil enforcers of "justice" are a neat concept. Curze and his motley band of sadistic Cartoon Evil sons are having more fun than anyone else in the setting.
"I can fix her"
Holy shit did he actually, though?
Can anybody tell me what the Khans been up to the last like… 10 thousand years? Is there any definitive lore that he’s even still kicking and if so what’s he up to
But curze
Vulkan is the best fuck you fight me
Guilliman
As loyalist, khan is my favorite but as chaos goes it’s Curze all the way.
This is great
He can fix the dark eldar from their evil ways
Does Jaghatai work more closely with Eldar in the books or is this the “every primarch gets and Eldar GF” thing?
While the lion is my favorite I think hawk boy being around would be best for humanity.
During the Heresy? Sure! He is the one with any resemblance of common sense that any sane human can have but that even the FUCKING Emperor of Mankind is unable to use it, let alone the majority of the loyalist Primarchs (only Guilliman during that time and Sanguinius got close). And his loyalty itself is rational and not without acute criticisms.
And he is a true chad that even with everybody in the Imperium distrusting him he helped to protect it! While the Dark Angels would make 10000 years of drama with their "Fallen", Khan solved the problem of traitors within his Legion within hours and disobeyed Dorn to save civilian lives and to beat the even more disgusting Mortarion.
In short, he is not my favourite Primarch, but he surely is the best indeed.
WHAT IS THE ORIGINAL MEME CALLED?
I need it for shitposting, can someone either link me the image or tell me how I can find it?
I have browsed photos of many muscular asian men with no luck.
Ah yes, Chadghatai Khan
Angron is awesome in design and as a character. Just the living embodiment of “Woke up and chose violence”.
As for Loyalists, definitely Charles Da- I mean, The Lion. He WWE style pile-drove Angron’s skull in with his shield. He is THAT guy.
Because he turned into super Saiyan during his fight with Mortarion
Gorilla man because he has the most books and it’s canon that all other chapters want to be like the Ultra marines.
Did I piss them off enough?
You made 9 mistakes in "Perturabo"
The Alak'Ge: When thr can fights for real he gets so Locked in and moves so fast his enemies blood does not even have time to splatter against his armor.
Vulkan, because he has the most biomass
Because he is based af
The only worth mentioning primarch is Roboute Guiliman. He saved the Imperium. He was the reason Horus drop the Shields. He was the reason imperium stayed alive and survived those 10000 years. Even Emperor didn't done that good gob.
Why isn't he significantly taller than his Eldar bitches?
The answer is simple. He goes the fastest.

Jaghatai probably has the most common sense of any Primarch. He understands that the Emperor and the Imperium are bad, but he knows that Chaos is even worse. He and the Scars also give a crap about civilians.
