No kids, Don’t ever plan on it, luckily found a girl who doesn’t want any. Did a lot of time raising my brother which kinda put me off the idea but I’ve never really desired it.
Definitely try to be a better person due to my relationship with him. Have found my self projecting some of his negative traits over the years but try to be really cognizant about it.
I’m all for a balanced diet. Lucky to have a larger food budget these days but have done my share of eating cheap.
Beans are notoriously high in protein, that’s why so much of the world live off beans and rice, lol
Nah, leaving at 16 was probably the best mental health thing I ever did, followed up by going no contact.
I was back where he lives on and off the last couple years and interacted with him briefly once, totality reconfirmed the decision, lol
We’re pretty close, he’s 8 years younger than me we mostly agree on stuff.
He can be a oddly boomer like sometimes but is generally open to change his mind when given evidence.
He doesn’t talk to our dad either though. When he was 15 his mom had a falling out with our dad and my brother has only talked to him a half a dozen times since.
How did you end up getting diagnosed?
Yeah it will be nice to see her, though I can’t say she’s particularly known for her cooking, lol
He’s always been a bit of a narcissist, could be pretty abusive. I probably would have stoped contact closer to 16 if not for my little brother who has a different mom. Even as it is my brother used to have some resentment about me leaving.
Haven’t really interacted with my dad for 7ish years, was strained for a while before that. Still talk to my mom pretty regularly, she’s actually coming to stay for a week soon.
I have somehow managed to keep the same best friend since we were 7yo, despite living in different states for most the time. We try to get together 4-5 times a year. I’m relatively close with his brothers but usually only talk to them if I’m in town.
Not many other close friends from being a kid. Have made some really good friends guiding etc that I try to stay in touch with and put together trips when we can.
Metaphorical bridges. He has a tendency to rub people the wrong way so living situations didn’t usually last long.
We did a lot of work trade for housing and sharecropping when I was younger so kinda like seasonal work, but I had moved out before I got into guiding.
Pretty sure, lol
My dad liked to travel and has a habit of burning bridges, lol. Parents got divorced when I was 12 so that kinda of exasperated it.
At 17 I got into seasonal guiding work and lived a lot of different places doing that.
We got most of our food from dumpster diving.
Yeah, did that on and off from 17-19. Had some season jobs that provided housing it at least a place to set up a tent and shower/cool which was nice.
This was my thought, then buy a full android setup for the left.
He was an anal baby, 😂
That actually kinda wild in itself, lol
Like a used condom? Or in the wrapper? Lol
Does staples accept Amazon returns though?
Who says Texas gets to be in charge?
Call it Western Federation of the Rockies, capitol is conveniently located centrally in Denver.
Welcome to living in a purple state, here’s some legal weed.
As someone who “found out”, it wasn’t the coolest experience…
Yeah I wouldn’t worry too much especially if you’re with family. I stayed in Camargo in April on our way back north from mazatlan and had zero issues.
Have a bunch of friends in Mexico but I’m pretty noticeable Caucasian and took my fiancé/brother/MIL who all barely speak Spanish.
Lol, no worries.
We can enjoy some children for a little while, there are about a half dozen that we see for a few days a year.
Overall just not into the idea. We travel a lot and enjoy the freedom. Do a lot of pretty intense outdoor expedition stuff still that’s not really child friendly. Also have a lot of animals which take up time/money.
For 3 winters before last we were living in a remote cabin that had no road access so would have been pretty tricky.
I moved at least once ever 18 months until I was 30yo AMA
