Go to your local Sail Store they will fix you up with expert advice and provide you with the proper equipment you need!

I was offered leather baseball jackets and a riflescope didn’t order them but they came with an invoice with my name as the P.O. Never paid them or used the bulbs, last I heard from them though

They are very healthy and getting healthier by the day next weeks weather will grow them bigger, if you like we could relase some from the sanctuary on Thursday and Friday 🪰🪰🪰🦟🦟🦟😃

Not in the park but there is a nice half day down the Madawaska from a put in at the bridge on Major Lake Road into Bark Lake. You should have two vehicles and park on in JR Booth Memorial Park. And leave the other at the put in. You can rent canoes in town from Algonquin Bound, they may deliver you and the canoe. Its a flat water trip. You can start the trip by going up river to see the remains of the McCauley Central Railway bridge over the river part of the Canadian Atlantic Railway there is some gentle “white” water sections above and below the bridge.

They own all the land around the lake so there is no public access they think.

The Lake has close ties to Loblaws and its owners

It is tied to Loblaws quite tightly

I use different rigs for the lakes I fish. Since most of you guys go deep for Lakers my shallow rigs may not work for you but start with a Cleo s/b remove the treble replace it with a snelled hook add a minnow and troll with that along a break or shoal.

Half for supper tonight the other half making into gravlax

I don’t want to take the fun of developing your own secret rig. To me that is the fun of fishing

There was a time in this fair Park the the sites were full of beer bottles after a weekend, the Department of Lands. And Forests flew garbage out of the backcountry. Regs have stopped that. Along with changing attitudes. There is hope

Its weather dependent. But be prepared for black flies and mosquitoes early morning and at dusk. No seeums should be out and maybe horse and deer flies in the heat of the day. Enjoy!

They should peak this weekend with the weather forecast. Good Luck 🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🪰🪰🪰🪰

The Visitors Centre and the logging Museum are must dos.Visit the East side if there are bugs, Barry’s Bay is a nice day trip to see some historic sites ( even a legendary hideaway of Al Capone. Lots of Polish heritage and Great food in the Wilno Tavern. Its also easier to book sites on the East side. If you want a camping experience and you don’t have the gear, Google fourcornersWhitney

This coming week should be good for the bugs and they should be near their peak, sounds like you should avoid the issue and stay home
