looks cool, and in the logic of the prequels being inspired by a "classical" era- stands in contrast to the more guerrilla /insurgency warfare seen in the original trilogy.

We had Clay Pit cater and staff our 100ish person wedding. They were affordable, and incredible- they’re used to massive Indian weddings so they said ours was a cake walk. Super delicious too.

This movie could be good. “Idgaf, with a little heart” MCU is the best MCU. Iron man 1, Guardians. We’ll see.

Playing at WW3 to get Trump elected.... And the US will probably fall for it.

It’s there on paper… trailer works… who knows man.

Might I suggest an 11th commandment: thou shalt not say ‘beetlejuice’ three times

Song is catchy and I find the production tasteful and dynamic and warm, which is a nice little trick to pull off these days.

I stand very corrected! Could’ve also gone with -wicka wicka record scratch-

MTV News: you hear it -anthrax riff- never

the only miseducated folks at this point are people who show up expecting ms lauryn hill to perform on time, possibly at all.

haven't used Suno, but with Udio, I think they have a case.
You ask for a specific artist, and at first it's like "sorry, can't do that" but if you try a few times it basically gives you that exactly. It's pretty obvious.

There are better I suppose, but Star Trek TNG is one that I never, ever skip

Gotta give it up to Game Sack and SegalordX- sometimes you want that real retro nerd shit

11k? What a joke. That is a massive “green light” for whatever they’re doing as far as Musk is concerned. And all involved know it.

When I saw “Grindhouse” the projection and was actually fucked up, picture dark, dialogue barley audible, but nobody could tell

That’s funny because I personally am loving Ncuti’s doctor and his breezy, light, free spirited, and let’s just say it, gay, energy. His bff rapport with Ruby is fun, and the smaller personality moments like his lip syncing along with Kylie Minogue in the most recent episode, I find super endearing.

To each his own of course, but I I think Ncuti is doing a lot to like between those larger character moments of trauma or heavy time-lord ones.

TBK thinking they had the same kind of draw as Dead & Co to fill arenas is just a massive miscalculation.

"Space Oddity" instead of "Let's Dance?" What are we even doing here?

I think studios are realizing collapsing the windows of theatrical, home/VOD, and streaming was really, really stupid.

There's so much content on streaming at any given time, I think they should go for longer theatrical windows, placing less import on huge openings. Then, disc/vod/streaming/(and with that, the high seas) will all kindof come at once, months after the theatrical run is well and truly juiced.

white person here. I don't doubt CC is experiencing some mildly racially tinged hazing in the league - but uh... that's what you get for coming in so hot with all of this attention (and sponsorships) that a lot of these players could also have earned, but didn't, for... racially tinged reasons.

People calling this "racism" though are big babies and trying to stir shit up, in bad faith. It's just reality.

Actors are busy being hot and auditioning and learning lines and stuff - and by now there's a lot of Star wars lore. Honestly, is it so hard to believe this guy mixed up the two major characters in an almost 50 year old franchise? Remember ,it was all nonsense to the original actors at first.

Actors don't need to be fans, they just need to be good, and have good material. If this show isn't good, it won't be because this actor wasn't a fan going in.

I think the sadder state is in general just not a lot of people care to know about filmmakers in general.
Within the film nerd community, I think there's plenty of awareness of the actual filmmakers behind any a24 release, but to a wider audience, the "overbearing" a24 brand is necessary to help more general audiences see these films at all.
