EA doesn't own an exclusive NHL license. They have no competition because nobody else wants to make NHL games right now.

Honestly, it's primarily about forcing myself to finally play the major games between Sonic 3D Blast (the last Genesis-era release, in 1996) and Sonic Unleashed (the first "modern" Sonic game I played, back in 2009). I had never played the Adventure games, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 06, etc. for more than a half hour or so. It's been fun trying to collect some of these on eBay and digital re-releases, and it's been great to go back to so many of them with fresh eyes to really evaluate how I feel about them.

I've been doing a run of playing 33 Sonic the Hedgehog games this year (because Sonic turned 33, and the 3rd movie is coming out in December). I just finished Sonic Adventure, and I'm about to start Sonic Adventure 2.

You guys are sleeping on Sonic. If he has the Chaos Emeralds, he's like S+ tier.

Sonic definitely ate chili dogs in Sonic Unleashed, which was a year earlier than Black Knight.

For a company that constantly makes billions and turns huge profits every quarter, they sure do love cutting corners like this ...

I love SNK, but they're smoking some serious shit if they actually believe they're capable of this in their current state.

They've released one new game in the last four years (The King of Fighters XV), some classic re-releases/compilations (KOF XIII Global Match, two Neogeo Pocket collections, etc.), and have two new games known to be in development (Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and Metal Slug Tactics). That's way too low of an output to be considered a significant publisher.

On top of that, they need to increase the quality of what they put out. KOF XV looks and sounds like a AA game at best, with dated visuals, weak sound, and a virtually unplayable online component for a long time because it took a year and a half (!) to finally fix the lousy matchmaking. SNK is still too cheap and stubborn to have anything other than Japanese-language audio (Terry Bogard and Blue Mary's Engrish notwithstanding), which immediately handicaps the growth potential of the series.

It's frustrating being an SNK fan, but it's clear that they don't have the money or talent to play with the big boys anymore.

I spend 3/4ths of my shift working in the back room, often alone. It's not unreasonable to expect to be allowed to listen to music/podcasts while sorting clothes and shoes. I think this goes for a lot of the roles that aren't primarily customer service.

Have you ever played Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga? There's a side mission where this goof is on Kamino because the Kaminoans think he's one of them. It's hilarious.

You don't get "extra" space. The SRAM was partitioned so that Sonic 3 didn't use anywhere near the maximum available space by itself.

Essentially, the 14 total save slots were always there, but only 6 were used for Sonic 3 by developer choice. The remaining 8 slots used in Sonic 3 & Knuckles are accessed on a different portion of the same Sonic 3 SRAM (since the Sonic & Knuckles cartridge doesn't have any). When you lock them together the first time, the S3 saves are copied into the equivalent S3&K slots -- yes, they are actually fresh saves with copied data, not the same saves.

The insane thing is that after Trump brought that accusation up, Biden stumbled into talking about how Trump has more cases coming, which does nothing to refute what Trump said. In fact, it makes Biden look even more guilty of weaponizing the DOJ against Trump. He played right into Trump's hands on the topic and completely failed to wiggle out of what Trump accused him of.

The moderators were surprisingly loose with the rules, giving both candidates time and leeway to counter each other, and Biden still had nothing to counter that.

The catalogs were far more valuable long-term, as they constantly made money. The royalties were earning him consistent money, and in the age of streaming, that would've only increased. It would've been a shortsighted choice that would've hurt him in later years (had he lived), since those royalties would've been his primary income.

(It's also a little dubious to assume that the preparation for This Is It is directly responsible for his death. He was down a path of drug use that would've resulted in his eventual death regardless.)

Sonic 06, unquestionably. No amount of "muh ambition" or "it had good ideas" can make up for such shitty execution. Forces is a complete, playable game whose worst crime is that the level layouts are boring.

I've been refusing to buy another NHL game until they fix the scuffed-ass presentation (my last one was NHL 22), but if they're just giving it to me for free, why not?

It's actually shocking how many games we've had both Ron Simmons and John Layfield, yet 2K refuses to include a Bradshaw alt. It's always either Nation Faarooq and JBL or APA Faarooq and JBL.

Her manager attires for Macho King (from Wrestlemania 7) and Harlem Heat should still be in the CAW suite, I think.

My only complaint about the game is that it's too slow. I love the graphics, soundtrack, and gameplay, but it takes too long to play from start to finish, and without the ability to save, that makes the game a slog.

As somebody who plays these games for the Legends, this is a great pack. I'll get a lot of use out of Honkytonk Man, Jimmy Hart, Sherri, and The Headbangers, and Post Malone could be a fun addition to put against Bad Bunny. It's a big win for me.

Easy Blue Pill for me. Team Sonic Racing is the only game I like here.

I've never realized until now how much Pockets looks like a shrunken Jake Hager.

Nobody will ever think Dodon Pa is the worst because he was a side character in one spinoff game. Chris was in multiple seasons of Sonic X and has done a lot more damage.

There's nothing wrong with getting a little more info about Sonic X Shadow Generations.

Generations > Colors > Unleashed

I haven't had this issue with any game. It seems like it's your console.
