Honest question, I picked a camp lock and proceeded to a vendor and within 15 seconds I was killed and berated. Literally killed while pending caps at his locked up vendor. It sounded personal. Lesson learned, but what's the big deal? I did no damage and was in pacifist mode until picking the lock took me out. First time last time.
The other response about it possibly ripping apart from the other red wire in the top left looks plausible.
That would be an odd wire, if it goes from pcb to other place on pcb it could have just been a trace. No need for a wire and labor to solder. Not impossible, just would be really stupid design.
Can't tell from images, but based on the size is likely a power wire to the battery.
Start slow then taper. In June I would start as early as you can and still feel rested. Heat has knocked me out more than cold. Stay in the shade, if you're in a mild climate disregard, but the sun can be brutal even when it's cool.
Besides that, all the good advice from the other folks about eating and feet. Maybe add a 1/2 size to your shoes. Don't expect mile 1 to be as fast as mile 50...sorry, km 1 to be as fast as km 80, so schedule/account on a 20-30% slow down later on.
That's the first thing I unlocked based on how I played other fallout games.
Thanks for the helpful response. So much gate keeping and snark. I was just trying to buy from a vendor on the map.
Learned something else. Close doors. I've left my camp out in the open since week 1 and never lost anything. Didn't know it was an issue.
By camp I mean the 4 most basic crafting tables and a storage box.
No idea. I'm so early gane I didn't know there was anything worth locking up. I see a lock, I pick it. As in all fallouts I've played.
Lesson learned.
Figured that when it said bounty, but the verbal attack? Didn't care, was just trying to buy plans. Only been playing ~3 weeks, didn't know their cartoon castle was so personal.
Went from ~30 last year to zero this year. Just found myself waiting in line more than skiing, and lift tickets went up 50%. Didn't miss it.
Another for Altras and Greek toes. Lose nails in every other shoe, still going to lose one from Lone Peaks, but haven't found better.
I did a tough 10 miler once and at the top there was a rock formation. Walking around the backside of this area, kind of sketchy, I came across about 15-20 little garden gnomes. All arranged and quite hilarious. It was a nice surprise the time. Funny reward for venturing a little off piste. If it were out in the open I'd be pissed, but it fit. Almost like I snuck up on a gnome village.
Motorworld Munchen is a museum/garage that is open to the public and houses the most insane collection of cars I've ever seen. It's not really a museum, it's an active garage with an unbelievable collection of cars. They had a McLaren Boattail when there was only 4-5 on the planet. Every variety of Bugatti you could name, and Ferraris were almost boring.
Wearing a bell as been the bear deterrent of choice for hikers for decades.Annoying though. Let's them hear you long before you can get close.
Tis reddit, no worries. Cranky old man opinions anyways get down voted.
Real food has always worked better for me, although I do like a nice caffeine gel every once in a while for the kick. Never paid more than a buck a gel though.
I've been doing ultras for over 20 years and this is the first I've heard of Spring Energy. Do people really pay $4-5 a gel? Go buy yourself some wonderbread and peanut butter and jelly and use the left over on a few shares of SPY.
Google "Silent Click" and Logitech has a bunch of options.
Great news! I have 2 broken sockets myself, probably 20+ years old.
I still have xo gripshifts on a 3x9 niner.
Shops by me sell by the pallet or cubic yard. Much cheaper.
booth of mine popped their tops. replaced with Amazon specials.
I was in the 90's with 15-20 balls that took a minute or two to clear. Then the doors opened (intentionally).
Every Ford Focus I've ever rented I've enjoyed, and I rent a lot of cars. Mostly because it's reasonably light, decent power, great visibility, and better amenities then more "luxurious" models.
