I think it's the toptalent sub maybe? It has a link somewhere in the comments of Sportacus doing (like half of it) live at an appearance... AT 59 YEARS OLD lmao

Booting that Octane in the dome must have felt fantastic

Hawks get the draw to be Utah's home opener, wonder how that decision gets made (aside from regular divisional logistics or whatever).

Ahh damn I might have to have an internal conversation about my yardwork from this weekend. Something may have just clicked for me.

As it was stated by others in the first post, it's tough to see what you're ramping for. I love the white counterspell package for sure, but one thing I'd change is ditching the Containment Priest and sinking in some blink cards. There are SO MANY white weenie ETB effects, abuse that.

One of my personal favorites is [[Teleportation Circle]] with some of the following: [[Evangel of Heliod]], [[Sun Titan]], [[Thousand Moons Smithy]], [[Horn of Gondor]].

So yeah, I'd stop hyper-focusing the meme aspect of this, and realize it's possible to build a punchy white weenie deck that confuses and interrupts others' game plans. Hell, even a [[Flumph]] would let you play politics and sneak in extra card draw pretty often.

Food delivery places jack up the normal menu price, that's how they make money. It's fucking ridiculous. $10 combo meal at a fast food joint is like $14 on those apps.

During the pandemic I pulled up Doordash, and my taco bell order (usually about $17 by myself in the drive thru) came out to $32 BEFORE I hit the tip line. Nope'd right outta that, made a damn sandwich instead.

I'll admit that I like to listen to albums more than playlists for certain labor things, but! I'll throw in as many names of the albums for any songs I recommend. On mobile, so apologies if the format comes out ridiculous.

Coheed and Cambria - The Liars Club (Album is Vaxis II, whole thing is great)

Dance Gavin Dance - One in a Million (Afterburner)

Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! - Gone are the Good Days (album is same name)

Valiant Hearts - Alaska, Adventurer, No Place Like Home (all on album Odyssey, love this one)

Shrezzers - Mystery, Vivacious, EMOJIQUEEN (Relationships). These guys sing in French on occasion, and a random saxophone solo always gets me

I'm just sneaking in to comment that I believe California is now the most litigious state in the country, but not in any way related to HOA's.

Since CCPA became a thing, you have a whole new generation of shitty lawyers that trawl websites all day looking for one that's non-compliant so they can sue them. In my line of work we call them "digital ambulance chasers". Add onto that the ever-increasing number of website breaches, and California has new class-action suits spinning up constantly.

Source: work in cyber security, specifically with digital forensics and legal counsel/breach coaches.

Needs a supplement in the syllabus for those mid '00 years where every pop punk band decided to forget about consonants, and prolly a quick lesson on deciphering screamo/prog metal, but yeah I'd take that class.

This was my favorite Arenas map, I could sometimes snag 3 of the points collectors before we were even engaged by the other team.

My kid brother (RIP) used to tell the waitresses that if the customer wanted guacamole, the waitress would need to go get an avocado from the tree on the roof.

Oops, "in the picture" shoulda been the answer, my bad

Yeah why isn't Steven Tyler on this list too? Not just for grossness with a minor, but essentially "buying" her and then dumping her off later.

Following up on point number 4, you want a hard acceleration out of the ship (nose down), but then pull all the way up to horizontal. That should get you gliding at around 140. From there, GENTLY alternate dip and glide when you get below 130 or above 140. Too many times, people can't make it as far because they're jerking between dive and glide.

This is an effective method if you know the POI you want to go to, but it's 900 or more meters away. It's also how I can land inside the Wraith Labs portal from up to 750 meters from the drop ship.

Midwest family of 4, and if we reduced pop/eliminated alcohol, I imagine it'd be pretty close. I'm not sure how inclusive "groceries" is - like, does that include other things you'd buy while grocery shopping, like toilet paper/light bulbs/laundry soap, etc...?

Umpire: "well, they clearly wrote it down, who are we to say? Better send this up to [War Room]* to review"

  • me, being a hockey fan and used to Toronto, but ultimately trying to mock that sports refs are constantly neutered from making their own calls because who gives a dang about accountability if the commercials aren't lit?

/uj it's "qualify" instead of quantify, but /rj I can see with the highly regarded base around this sub, it's a horde of plexiglass lickers, so it tracks I guess.

Instructions unclear, Anna just wants an Edmonton 7-inch

Looks like dill and capers!

Holy shit can we invite her here for an AMA? Let's start it at the beginning of the 3rd period tonight for what I assume will be peak snark.

I should have read your comment before I posted essentially the same thing, I had similar luck with Jor and I'm definitely in the pro-smashy smashy camp with Bruenor.

I thought Jor Kadeen would be a great choice, but it led to haunting turns while I tried to decide between Voltron and go wide, and it didn't do both well at the same time. Might have been user error, admittedly.

My wife's tried and true Voltron commander is [[Bruenor Battlehammer]], and I'm considering a Jeskai aura build with [[Elsha of the Infinite]]. Bruenor is a monster with just a couple dinky things equipped.
