He 100% can picture it in his head. My ex was like that, the more he told the story the realer it got... to him.

I wish i hadn't. My ex husband was a Jr, my son is the 3rd, as time went on we were pretty sure the original was not my ex husband's father, as well he took off when my ex was 2 so made even more a mockery of it. And my ex had debt in several states so my son has been called many times for people looking for his dad.

I had my mother in law and sister in law pass away within 2 days right before i was supposed to serve. I called and said I know this sounds like I'm making it up but this is my story. They rescheduled, then it ended up getting canceled. I think calling and showing that you're willing to serve at a later time makes a huge difference. Good luck! And enjoy your trip!

Holy moly! We did ours at a butterfly sanctuary, highly recommend! Bought my dress at a local shop, mom did flowers, had photos of everyone with butterflies throughout the night, and they arranged for the food and cake. Oh and a butterfly landed on my face during our vows! 17 years and people still comment how much they loved it.

A trucker angry at the on-Cape traffic jam getting ready to go over the bridge put her 18-wheeler in the wrong lane and collided with 2 cars, killing 2 teenagers.

I hear that. Mom was home. I knew it was her last days, and I still checked with the hospice nurse to ask if it was OK to give her some morphine as she was very uncomfortable. The nurse said You can give her what she needs. I asked again and she deliberately said You can GIVE her what she NEEDS and the light went off in my head. Definitely a compassionate act, there is no reason to have them be in pain when you can assist.

Yup yup my mother in law wrote a detailed addendum to her will with how much money one son was 'loaned' and that is to be considered his only inheritance.

Yeah I did!! Not the end of the world but sooooo frustrating. So close! 😆

I should have been in Maine for the aurora this weekend.

I had scheduled my yearly vacation in Maine this weekend, but moved it due to a work event changing days and I knew it would be very helpful if I was at work to assist with coordinating last minute details. They didn't ask me, I offered, so totally on me, but man I would have loved to have been there for the aurora!! I can barely see a glimpse of it here. The event is to raise money for mental health, in the memory of my boss' daughter, and my other boss' mom is in hospice, so I'm glad i stayed to help as they really need me, just so bummed. Maybe it'll still be going on next Thursday when I go up??? Loving seeing the amazing photos from all over!
