Times have changed in the past 10 years or so. Things are all upside down now - you have legit 2/10 women demanding perfect 10 men.

But 15 years ago or so, when I was still dating, you could have a physically 10/10 man, 6'2, built, chiseled face... but unemployed driving a falling apart 1992 Ford Escort, and they would pull in L.A. 10s all day long. Take a guy that is a 7-8/10, but has his act together, and they'd get a disgusted face for literally asking for the time.

The one area where men did not have the same privilege is areas like getting out of traffic tickets, or getting free drinks, or cutting to the front of the line at a club.

I don't know what any of that means, or what it is you need help with, but those are certainly cute pups!

The closest thing I can think of - and they don't even come close to speedos - are the OP and HangTen shorts we wore in the 70s/80s. They were kinda tight, and fairly short, but still actual shorts.

On Los Angeles beaches, for my whole life, the rare speedos we saw were on euro tourists.

I'm in L.A. A tourist backed into my car a few years ago and ripped my front plate off. Later that day I got pulled over for no front plate. I showed him the plate and the screws that were ripped out, and he didn't care - gave me the ticket and I had to take a day off work to go get it inspected.

I'll put my front plate on, thanks.

As a plumber here, drywall repair is excluded. we cut what we need to in order to make the repair. if the drywaller needs it a different way, he can cut it how he needs it. Again, we're plumbers, not drywallers.

Well.... I bought it from a seller website (not a reseller like Amazon) with the Shop app, and now that I'm trying to get the link for you, I'm getting a 404 on it. I was possibly scammed. We'll see, if it doesn't arrive in the next week.

Essentially this one, but a different brand. https://www.amazon.com/URPOWER-Extender-Waterproof-Backseat-Protector/dp/B0C93QVJZX

Found it. https://furbuddiesco.com/

And no, I don't know if it is any better than anything on Amazon.

Thanks again for the help. I think it's important that your clients relay our positive experiences hiring you.

Nope.

The DCT problems have been ice models. There are tons of reported issues on both ice and hybrid.

eta: for those making up their own thing that they think I said, I never said that hybrids have had transmission probems. Read what is on the screen, not what you want it to say.

I didn't realize it was his daughters. I saw it yesterday and thought it was horrible.

Haven't registered yet. I need to sell my current car to pay for CA sales tax and registration. That will happen this week.

Yeah. Which I'm cool with. Reading about all the problems, I was okay getting some mikes on it... as long as it didn't break down and I was able to get to work monday morning.

I'll just say under MSRP, that's after the cost of the trip. All LA dealers said up front that I wont leave for under MSRP. My priority was to get a car, not haggling. I've seen people getting great deals on here and in FB groups. I got a good deal, not a great deal, but a good deal is better than no deal.

My border collie turns into a human when she goes in the backyard.

If I was keeping my dog in the cargo area, I'd get a soft liner, and then find cloth covers the hook onto and cover the backs of the 2nd row. My dog is a backseat dog, and I'm still trying to solve the gap between the seats. I ordered a rigid bottom cover/platform this morning that bridges the gap, hopefully that will work. For now she is just sitting on the passenger captain's with a bucket seat cover on it. She's fine and stays put, but there isn't much room for her to hang on or brace, or to spread out.

Imagine taking a direct answer to a question as "snark".
