do many young East Asian and southeast Asian women wear colored contacts
This is literally not a thing lmao unless you’re talking about kpop stars or anime cosplayers
The tuah isn’t pronounced how it’s spelled
Just be happy you don’t have a blue collar job right now
Hilary also “won” by several million votes. But in the US, it is the Electoral College and not the popular vote that matters. “7,059,526” is an irrelevant number. All Trump needs to win is tens of thousands of voters in the right swing states.
The felony counts haven’t had entirely negative effects for Trump. Initially the Biden campaign had a huge cash advantage over Trump’s but since his conviction, donations to Trump have surged and Trump’s campaign has more than closed the gap. Many potential voters viewed Trump’s conviction as unfair and have now been energized.
Seems like a random insult but you do you
I meant why didn’t the state call her a traitor. I know internet commenters did. I just don’t understand why you think that these commenters hate Japan because of a state sponsored campaign instead of just organically hating Japan.
Why would they want to make her a hero if she helped a people that the state is encouraging hatred against? Shouldn’t they call her a traitor?
Why are their hate comments in the first place? Bad blood from WW2 I guess.
Then why is she being honored and why does this article say hate comments are being removed?
Muh Russian bots. Muh stutter and cold (yeah because everybody knows a stutter and a cold make you unable to form coherent sentences).
Dude took a look at the op-ed column of the New York Times right now. Or the Huffington Post. Even fucking Biden himself acknowledged his debating form wasn’t up to par. Jesus Christ get your head out the sand
This thread is just this tweet but one layer deeper. White guys going “i hate how asian women think im sexy” lol

Just Koreans, and not even Korean Americans, and it’s almost always monolid surgery. The other ones are much rarer. Never mind cosmetic operations that other races do that Asians don’t like botox

In the links you posted (https://www.ncid.sg/News-Events/News/Pages/Sinovac-jabs-not-as-effective-in-preventing-severe-disease-S%E2%80%99pore-study.aspx#:\~:text=S'pore%20study-,Sinovac%20jabs%20not%20as%20effective,severe%20disease%3A%20S'pore%20study&text=People%20who%20received%20two%20doses,new%20local%20study%20has%20found, https://www.precisionvaccinations.com/vaccines/coronavac-covid-19-vaccine#:\~:text=Sinovac%20Biotech%20Ltd.,involving%20their%20vaccine%20candidates'%20RNA), that quote, or anything referencing that quote, does not appear.
Yes, thank you for showing that Brazil study now. Still, it seems like depending on the study, and depending on what metric you're using to measure "effectiveness" Coronavac does better than 50%. For instance, from the precisionvaccinations link, "In addition, a real-world study of millions of people who received CoronaVac published by the WHO found the vaccine 67% effective against symptoms, reduced hospitalizations by 85%, intensive care visits by 89%, and deaths by 80%."
As for the cost, the $15-19 figure refers to the price at which the US purchased Pfizer/Moderna vaccines for *when* they became available.
In mid-2020, months before any COVID-19 vaccine was yet authorized or had even completed clinical trials, the federal government purchased an initial 200 million vaccine doses from Pfizer and Moderna (100 million each), at a price of $19.50 per dose and $15.25 per dose, respectively.
The vaccines weren't publicly available until late 2020 or 2021. So that makes the Indonesia cost comparison perfectly reasonable. They too were buying Sinovac vaccines at $14 for when they became publicly available.
What do you mean by efficiency? Because 50% doesn’t appear in your link. Your Reuters link says that $60 was the cost of the drug during its experimental phase in China but other countries like Indonesia had negotiated to receive it at a lower cost once it became publicly available ($14).
Is the NATO Yugoslav intervention proof Western countries with their liberal rules based order are truly the good guys? There was no oil or natural resources or wealth so you can’t say we did it for material gain. The people we were helping were Muslims and the people we bombed were white Christians so you can’t say we did it out of some christofascist white supremacy thing. Like it really seems like we did that shit out of the goodness of our hearts.
No, there are restrictions on research collaboration with China. Some professors unfortunately have been mistakenly accused of being spies as a result: https://www.aps.org/apsnews/2022/06/unjust-arrests-chinese-descent
