Have you seen JFK and Jackie? They literally get meme for being ugly and were considered very attractive not too long ago. People are much better looking now

Matt Olsen single handedly destroying my fantasy team

She is an attractive woman with a good sense of humor. It’s a surprisingly crude response with a good delivery. It’s easy to clip into a soundbite, reference in only two syllables, or easily mime the action.

If he’s on a minimum as a dice roll last player on the bench, I’d 100% take him back. That guys gonna be a DNP most nights anyway

On the “official acts” portion, I agree. They did change established law on the evidentiary portion though.

No, they’ve clearly left it to themselves to decide what constitutes a threat vis a vis an official act.

Key point in the ruling being “official acts,” which scotus declined to define. Most of the things you mentioned are clearly outside of official acts, but anything even on the periphery SCOTUS isn’t going to decide in favor of Biden. The Judicial branch has given itself immeasurable control over the executive branch in the past week. With republican control of the legislature, there is minimal that can be done to rein them in at the moment.

Doesn’t change any outcomes, but it’s worth clarifying that republicans have had the majority on the court since Nixon was president. No one under the age of 55 has lived in the United States under anything other than a republican controlled court.

Kind of disagree, in combination with the rest of the rulings in the past week, SCOTUS has given themselves an absurd amount of power. Just because they gave Trump immunity does not mean that they’ll find anything Biden does an official act. Biden had the authority for the loan forgiveness plan they threw out (and there shouldn’t have been standing to begin with). They come to the conclusion they want, then backfill the ruling.

I’d hardly even call it snow. It’s more like the roads freeze over 4-5 days a year and you might get a dusting of snow that lasts less than 24 hours

Unless they can take an absurd lead, no person of average speed steals second without an errant throw.

Tbf his freak toe injury last year is a very 30 comes for everyone injury

I remember reading about Memphis potentially offering Jaren Jackson and the No 2 pick for Simmons in 2019. I don’t think Memphis actually offered this, but that was the one deal for young Ben I actually thought we should accept.

Great defense and high AVG team that unlocked power with their stadium modifications. Rotation is definitely a weak spot, but while everyone else is dealing with a deader ball it’s jumping off that bats in CLE.

Agreed. Pelicans are free to demand a bigger package for Ingram, but at the end of the day a team has to be willing to meet the price.

Bridges was a really special position where he’s a 2nd or 3rd option that can fit all roster constructions and was on a team friendly deal. NYK were a perfect match for an overpay of picks, as they can resign OG and have a core of prime age players locked in.

I just don’t think it’s worth the price. He was great last season, but it’s the only year he’s managed to play 100+ games.

A few years ago, booing was mostly just because pickoffs felt like time wasting. However, now it’s more of an environment/nerves thing. Pitchers genuinely can unravel when they start getting nervy about the pickoffs.

Also has to do with how building itself is regulated. If you can only build one SFH on a property, instead of condos/apartment/multifamily, then the you should make more on a bigger SFH structure.

Pretty excited about this. Think people would be a lot happier about it if Jack hadn’t started the season injured.

As with any cool or west coast city, people moved there and made it as difficult as possible to build any new housing. Entrenched and enriched current landowners at the expense of everything else.
